Day was complicated but during the night it didn't get any easier, not only the royals had to be aware in every moment in case they were attacked but they also had to take turns to check on Tai.

The king tried to sleep and get some rest, but it was hard when he had difficulties breathing and a high fever.

Eventually and after some struggle he was finally able to sleep although it wouldn't be for long.

Tai opened his eyes and he was surrounded by darkness once again, at least in his dreams he didn't feel so awful.

He expected to see either his mother or father, but none of them appeared, instead, a man who he couldn't recognize made himself present.

"Greetings Tai"

"...who are you?"

"I'm your grandfather, one of the late kings of Genzo"

"Grandfather?" What are you doing here?" Tai had never met his grandfather but he heard a lot of stories about him from his dad.

"I came here to warn you Tai, about Bomei and his mother"

"Are they a bigger threat than expected?"

"Yes, you already read it in the history books, but believe me, there is a lot more"

"If Bomei gets to the throne, the first thing he will do is to destroy all trace of the royal family, his mother wanted to erase the rulers from the past and start again with her own descendance"

"And not satisfied with that, she wished to invade Yami and conquer said land, it's known as a fact that Genzo wouldn't exactly have an easy victory, it's almost sure that neither kingdom would have survived enough to be back to what it once was"

"She will convince Bomei to do what she couldn't"

"Exactly... I feel sorry for him, he has been manipulated for his whole life, maybe I shouldn't have let my anger control my emotions"

"...Grandfather, did you hear my conversation with dad?"

"I did, and I have to say, you're really brave for being able to tell him his mistake directly, I couldn't even do that, because even though I take responsibility for my actions, you're not wrong by saying that he could have stopped me"

"I understand that your currently fighting to save your life, concentrate on that and then you can take care of this issue"

"Of course... thank you grandfather, it was nice to get to know you even a little"

"It was my pleasure grandson, I must go now, please be careful, everything can change when you least expect it"

"I will"

He woke up when he felt the rays of sun hit his face, they had to keep moving.
