Tai wondered how much he could last, he was constantly slipping in and out of consciousness and he was so weak Safiya and Haki had to take turns to carry him, if he didn't feel like death he would have made a joke about getting in the middle of their relationship.
He started thinking about what happened with Bomei, while he was ashamed that he had to let his feelings control him, what really bothered him was that Bomei showed some doubt, but not because of leaving, rather, it seemed like he was doubting his actions.
His thoughts were interrupted when he heard Takevu's voice: "We're here"
He opened his eyes and saw one of the most beautiful sightings ever.
It was like a small valley, surrounded by trees and with a gorgeous lake around it.
On the center of the valley there was one big tree with the blue/golden flowers blooming out of it.
With a bit of effort they climbed to the highest point and Haru quickly started collecting flowers.
After mixing the flowers with other plants she gave the antidote to Tai.
After taking it he could finally breath correctly and he didn't feel as fatigued as before.
It would still take a few days to cure the venom entirely but at least his life wasn't in danger anymore.
It was nighttime and the royals were currently sleeping, but as always, Tai was having some trouble resting.
Unlike the other times he had a dream, in which he opened his eyes, was surrounded by darkness and waited until his parents or any other relative appeared to talk.
This time he was in what seemed to some type of town or village, he noticed how his body was quite transparent, he also realized how his feet didn't seem to touch the ground or how he was unable of touching or feeling anything.
It seemed like he was some ghost or spirit.
He realized he had to be in Genzo, but something was wrong, he felt as if it wasn't the kingdom he knew, as if something had changed drastically.
He soon figured why.
He tried to see if any of his siblings was around and soon he found them, in the worst way possible.
They were dead.
His horror was interrupted by a maniacal laugh, at first he thought it could be Bomei but soon he distinguished it as a female's voice.
He looked behind him and he was unable to believe what he was seeing.
Konto was on the throne room, a crown on her head and an evil smile on her face.
Bomei was also there, but in an unexpected way, instead of standing alongside his mother, he was in front of her, struggling as she held him by his throat.
Tai quickly realized that they lost and that everyone was doomed.
Suddenly Bomei glanced towards his direction, as if he could see the king, he only said one phrase:
"I'm sorry"
After that, pure darkness.
