"I trust you had a good time at your internship?" You looked up at the raggedy man sat opposite you as you chewed and swallowed the breakfast in your mouth. He had noticed that you have been less tense since you returned, he had even caught you humming to yourself sometimes. He also took note of how you were cooking meals for the both of you now, you had even baked brownies over the weekend.

"Uh yeah, it was... alright." He seemed unimpressed with your plain answer but you had always been closed off towards him. He sighed and set down his utensils before trying to chip away at your thick shell.

"Come on, you know you can trust me and I want to know how it went." Your actions stilled at his words. The truth was that you had felt yourself trusting him more as each day passed. It was scary, you had only ever trusted Dabi and Aizawa was a hero. You didn't know what to think anymore. Should you trust him? He's been nothing but kind to you, he had housed and fed you for a while now. He had given you no reason that you shouldn't trust him.

"Well... Hawks really helped me with my wings, it was nice to use them again. Patrols were mostly uneventful but apart from that it was a worth while week." You spoke as if it was some sort of formal report. Your summary of the experience was short and sweet yet informative, something that the terse man appreciated.

He stood up, grabbed your plates and placed them in the sink to wash when he gets home after school that day. "I'm glad that you enjoyed." He placed his hand on your shoulder shortly before moving to put on his boots. Your hand moved to rub where he touched lightly as a ghost of a smile appeared on your face before you sprang up to do the same as him.

You turned the corner into the gates of U.A when a familiar silhouette came into view. You sped walk towards him and smoothed the back of his head curiously with your left hand. You had never seen it styled in such a manner, you didn't even think it was capable of being styled.

"What the fuck?! Did you just touch me?!" You retracted your hand and travelled forward to walk next to him. You leant forward so you could see his angry face but you just couldn't take it seriously at all with the hair.

"What happened to your hair Bakugo?" You were trying your hardest not to laugh because you had to save face here. If you suddenly became more friendly, people would think that you actually want to talk to them. Though, at the mention of his hair, he seemed to become even more mad.

"Fucking Best Jeanist did it, and now it's gotten used to it and won't go back to how it was before! I've tried everything." He was growling out his explanation as you finally made it to the door of 1-A. You were anxious to ask Shoto how his internship with Endeavor went aside from the whole hero killer debacle. So you just patted him on the shoulder, a gesture he'd never seen you do to anyone before, and slipped past Sero and the others who started to tease Bakugo relentlessly.

You spotted the peppermint haired boy and paced towards him, sending nods of acknowledgement to anyone who greeted you as you passed them. His eyes widened at you coming straight towards him, usually you never approached anyone first thing in the morning. You sat down on the corner of his desk as he stared up at you, it was only now that he realised just how beautiful you were. Your (H:C) hair was braided in french braid that cascaded over your right shoulder, it was tied with a baby pink ribbon. He noticed your long, full eyelashes and your soft lips, were you wearing lip balm? He had never seen you put this much effort into your appearance before but it suited you.

You waved your hand in front of his face to garner his attention and repeated your question. "So how was your internship?" You placed your left hand back onto the wood and cocked your head to the side. Instead of your usual indifferent attitude you seemed to actually care about the answer which made Shoto smile inwardly.

"It was an interesting insight into the hero industry." You chuckled breathily at his short and vague answer. You were expecting a bit more than that, in all honesty. You leaned forward slightly, trying to get closer down to his level.

"And how were things with your father?" Just as you expected, he tensed at the mention of the number two but only momentarily. 'I see he's improving in the emotional baggage department.' You felt kind of proud of him for that, you wished you could say the same about yourself. You had improved, but not that much.

"Difficult, but that's no change." You nodded thoughtfully at his answer. You didn't know what you expected from him but for some reason his answer left you wanting more. You were getting too invested and you knew it, but it was just natural and kept happening no matter how much you fought it.

"How was yours, you interned with Hawks right?" You snapped your gaze back to the half and half boy in front of you and mulled over your answer. You wondered whether you should give him an answer just as vague as his, which you knew was quite petty. Unluckily for him though, you could be quite petty even over things as small as this.

"Yeah it was okay, not much happened." A comfortable silence fell between you before it was interrupted by the class asking him, Iida and Midoriya about Stain. You decided to bounce as the desk was now becoming too crowded for your liking.

You watched the three boys answer the class' questions and even though everyone else was fooled you could tell they were lying through their teeth. You furrowed you're eyebrows at this. Since you were quite the experienced liar you could spot someone lying very well, but the question was why were they lying? They seemed to be fibbing about the fact that Endeavor saved them, but if not him then who? You were about to grab a book out of your bag to read when you were elbowed on the shoulder by Mina who was grinning down at you.

"You're staring at Todoroki." She stated smugly and wagged her eyebrows. You just rolled your eyes, shoved her away and denied it. 'I was staring at them, yeah... them.' You heard her laugh as she went to join the rest of the class in their bombardment of questions at the three boys. You had actually seen Stain before, you had been on a drug run for Chisaki when it happened. You had stuck your head around the corner and seen him stood above the body of a hero. Man that dude had such an intense vibe, he was definitely the obsessive type.
