"Tokoyami! Wanna play cheat?" You held up the pack of cards at the emo boy. During your internship, the game 'cheat' aka 'bullshit' had become your favourite to play together. You both had poker faces that could withstand almost anything so it was quite difficult to tell when the other was lying. He was still yet to figure out how you kept winning though. What he didn't know was that you had learnt from the best - Dabi. The trick was to put down more cards than you were saying but to put the top ones as the cards you had called out. It worked every time. He nodded his head and joined you on the floor of the common room.
"Oh! I want to play!" Kaminari called out, others also joining as well. It ended up being you, Tokoyami, Kaminari, Sero, Tsu, Jiro and Kirishima had managed to drag Katsuki to play. You distributed the cards and explained the rules as everyone nodded in understanding. Katsuki was sat next to you and bumped his shoulder into yours playfully.
"You're going down, short stack." You scoffed at that and muttered 'as if' under your breath. You couldn't disgrace Dabi's teaching by losing, defeat was not even an option. The game began with you going first. You stuck to your tactic throughout the entirety of the game and eventually with some cries of despair, rage (mostly from Katsuki) and joy, you emerged victorious.
"Oh I'm sorry Katsuki, what were saying earlier about me going down?" You placed your hand next to your ear and taunted him right to his face. It was then that your friends realised you fear nothing. Not only did you just beat the ash blond but you then mocked him and called him by his first name. They didn't realise he had told you to do that.
"I'll kill you in the next round, I was just warming up!" He slapped your hand away from your ear and yelled at you. A smirk appeared on your face as your entire being puffed up with confidence.
"Wanna bet?" You challenged him head on. The group looking onwards in interest at the drama ensuing. Tokoyami though, was still trying to figure out how you win every time.
"Hell yeah! If I win, you have to do whatever I say for a week!" He grinned maniacally at the thought of you obeying his every command. The things he'd make you do, the idea was too delicious, he had to win.
"Alright and if I win, I get to hang out and annoy you in your room whenever I want!" You stuck out your hand for handshake, confidence never wavering. As if this nerd who hates lying could beat you at this game. Lies could slip past your lips as easily as breaths, he had no idea what he was up against. He grabbed your hand and tugged you closer to him.
"You're on."
*spongebob voice: five minutes later*
"AAAGHHH WHAT THE FUCK YOU HAVE TO HAVE CHEATED!" The angry boy crumpled the cards in his hands. He had the most out of anyone because a) he couldn't lie for shit and b) he always got antsy and called cheat on you only to be disappointed.
"Well duh, that's the whole point of the game." He let out a deep yell and threw his cards at the floor before getting up and stomping off to his room. You chuckled and everyone agreed that it was time to stop so you collected the cards.
"You have bested me again (Y:N)." Tokoyami spoke in shame as he handed you his cards, which caused you to wink at him cheekily.
"Yes, well, these types of games come easily to a cheat like me." It was true. Eventually Dabi wasn't even able to beat you, you were invincible. He ended up banning the game from your shared apartment, much to your dismay though. You grabbed your phone from Kaminari, who had been charging it, and followed after Bakugo.
You knocked thrice on the his door before entering as if you owned the place. He watched in slight amusement from the bed as you stretched exaggeratedly and yawned. Your top rode up and exposed your midriff as you raised your arms which his eyes may have lingered on for longer than necessary. "Well it sure is nice to be in my new second home." He was about to about to argue your words when you flopped backwards onto him as if he wasn't even there.
