Ever since then you had avoided Shoto, you were embarrassed over your rash actions but also still annoyed at what he said. He just didn't understand, you thought that he would given his father but that just wasn't the case. You ate lunch quickly with the girls and then, on the days it was dry, you'd go lay on the grass and talk with Shinso. The peppermint haired boy had tried to talk to you and apologise but you were either out the door too fast or you just ignored him completely.

Now, it was the day of the practical exam. The written tests had gone well for you since you had to study after school in the library while Aizawa was going about what he described as 'school business'. Yaoyorozu had offered you to come to a group study at her house but until the end of term you were only allowed to be on school property or at Aizawa's apartment for security reasons.

You were in a group of three with Mina and Kaminari for the test and you were up against Nezu. Now, you weren't sure what his quirk was but it was definitely a psychological one and it had to be good if he was the Principal. You had tried to form a strategy with them but they had just brushed you off and agreed amongst themselves to wing it. Your opinion was that that approach was going to fall through and then they'd be forced to listen to you. So as you watched the first three teams go through the tests, you had sat and planned. Your test was to take place in Ground Gamma, which was practically just a metal labyrinth, you had no clue as to how Nezu would use the location to his advantage.

Well, it was too late to stress out because you were currently in the middle of Ground Gamma and the test had just begun. You scanned the area, looking for the Principal's aura when a distant crash sounded throughout the arena. Your group mates voiced their confusion but you just stayed focused on locating Nezu. As soon as your eyes locked on to your target though, the metal structures around you began to crumble, almost crushing the three of you. The structures continued to fall and the three of you were only just about outrunning it.

"Guys we should head right here!" You had noticed that Nezu was sealing off your path to the exit so you thought it best to take him down. You had thought that they heard you so you turned the corner without looking back, the metal continued to crash down but only in the direction of the left turn. You hunched over and placed your hands on your knees, trying to catch your breath. "Alright. I've located the principal so we should... guys?"

You noticed their lack of presence and whipped your head around, trying to find them. You spotted their auras soon enough though, they were madly sprinting in the opposite direction of you, 'Damn idiots! Why don't they ever listen to me?!' You roared in annoyance and decided, fuck 'em, you'd do this on your own.

You deployed your wings and flapped downwards, you soared at top speed to the crane that Nezu was currently controlling. You flicked your right wing powerfully and a shard of Anoddium shot from it, slicing through the chain that the wrecking ball was attached to, effectively disarming the great machine.  You swooped down to the door separating you and Nezu and ripped it open. You placed your feet down on the platform used for getting into the machine and took out the handcuffs. You roughly manhandled the Principal, ripping him out of his seat and restrained him. You had passed, no thanks to dumb and dumber.

"Ahhhhh (Y:N), we're so sorry for not listening to you!" Kaminari and Mina wailed and grabbed at each of your arms. You just chuckled, you weren't that annoyed anymore since it was a few days after the exam and results day.

"Oh shove off, I don't care anymore. Let's just look forward to the training camp." You wiggled out of their grips as their moods took a complete 180, they started to cheer and fantasise over the trip. It was quite amusing to watch their reaction as Aizawa announced that they had failed and you were pretty sure you could pinpoint the moment Kaminari's soul left his body when they were told that they'd still attend the camp.
