Ryuji POV
Tomorrow is the day of the exams and it's also the last day that I'll be tutoring Toru, unless she asks me for my help. Just because I got first place though that doesn't mean that I slacked on my own studies, it's always nice to review and make sure that I remember everything. Especially since I've got ponytail trying to take my spot away from me.
"Ugh, math is always such a difficult subject for me" Toru complains
"Personally it's the easiest, since there is always a set way to solve basically any problem" I say
"Yeah well I don't have an iq of like a billion" Toru pouts
"My iq isn't quite a billion but I would say that it's pretty high" I say
"What is your iq?" Toru asks
"Oh I can't really judge it for now since I'm not 25 yet, my brain isn't fully developed" I explain to her
"I bet that you'll be even smarter when you're older, it's pretty incredible to think about all the cool things you could make. You might even be able to discover time travel" Toru says
"Oh I don't think I'll ever achieve that" I say
How could someone ever invent time travel with like an inverted Möbius strip or something.... I need to jot that down.
"Anyways we are almost done with today's session, after this is there anything you would like to do?" I ask
"Well if you don't mind I would like to watch you work on your inventions..." Toru says
"You know that we can do other things if you want" I say
"I know but...I kinda like just watching you work, you just look so...peaceful" She says
I blush a bit
"Uh yeah that's ok, you can watch me work" I stammer
We finish up the study session and head to the my lab.
"Hello my precious Kevin, Karen, Kepler, and Ryuji Jr." Toru says
The builder bots fly over to her and she begins to pet them all.
"I don't remember programming them to like pets" I say
"Well you better not change them because they are most definitely your cutest inventions yet" she says
"Don't worry I wouldn't dream of changing them, if I did you'd probably find some way to change them back" I jokingly say
"You know I would" she says
I start working on this robot I'm making called Alpha. I'm making him in so that until I become a hero he will be able to help out people and other Heroes with jobs. Basically he's a robotic sidekick for hire.
"What are you working on right now Ryu?" Toru asks me
"I'm basically making a robotic sidekick for hire named Alpha" I say
"Would he be sentient like how Arvin is?" She asks
"He would have to be since it's impossible for me to program every single possible thing that could ever happen" I say
"Is that such a good idea? Making a sentient robot and all, what if he turns on us or something?" She says
"Oh come on Toru who do you think I am?" I ask,"I'm not a child genius who's one of the smartest people on earth for nothing" I say
"I guess you're right...you do know what you are doing" she says
"Exactly" I say as I get back to work
