Ryuji POV
Today is finally the day where Kirishima and I can start our work studies with Fatgum.
*knock knock knock*
"Hey, Takashi. Are you ready to go?" I hear Kirishima ask from the other side of my door
"I'll meet you in the common room" I respond
"Got it, don't take too long" I hear him say
I gather the rest of what I need to bring and exit my room.
"Arvin, keep my room on lockdown until it get back. And make sure to tell me if anyone tries to get in" I say
"Understood, sir" Arvin responds
"You know...I've been thinking and I've realized that I haven't had a long conversation with you that wasn't about work since I started U.A" I say
"There's no need to worry about me getting lonely, sir. If anything, I'm just glad that you've finally made some friends" Arvin reassures me
"I'm gonna pretend that you didn't just make fun of me and take it as a compliment" I say
I head downstairs and meet up with Kirishima, Uraraka, and Tsu.
"It's about time" Kirishima says
"Unlike you all. I have to prepare for future battles that could happen" I say
"Let's just get going to the train station, ribbit" Tsu says
"Yeah, I agree, I can't wait for another minute" Uraraka excitingly says
We leave the dorms and make our way to the train station.
"You know, I've been wondering something" I say
"What would that be?" Tsu asks
"Do you ribbit on purpose or does it just happen automatically?" I ask her
Tsu remains quiet for a moment...
"I know that you don't ribbit after every sentence so I was wondering if you do it on purpose" I say
"I guess it just kinda happens. I didn't even know that I ribbited until you said something" She says
"Quirks are weird..." I say
We arrive to the train station and part ways. Kirishima and I head for the train that will get us to Fatgum's agency.
"Why does Fatgum have to patrol so late at night?" I say as I yawn
"That's your fault for not preparing yourself" Kirishima says
"I'm always prepared. Just wake me up when we get there, I'm gonna have a power nap" I say as I lean my head back and close my eyes.
A few minutes later...
"Hey, Takashi. Wake up, we're here" I hear Kirishima's voice
I slowly open my eyes and see Kirishima's face I front of me.
"A little to close for comfort there buddy" I say and push his face away
"Ow! My eyes!" He exclaims
We get off the train and head for Fatgum's agency. We arrive and see Amajiki standing at the entrance.
"I-I'm g-glad to s-see that y-you b-both made it" he says
"We both thank you again for the opportunity!" Kirishima exclaims
"N-No need t-to s-shout" Amajiki says,"J-Just g-go and g-get changed a-and m-meet Fatgum and I o-out here" he says
Kirishima enters the building while I just stand outside.
