Before we begin I just want to thank everyone so much for reading and liking this story, when I first started this I didn't think that it would get so many reads. I just want to say how happy it makes me to know that you all enjoy this story as much as I enjoy writing it. It's also insane how at the time I'm writing this my book is number 3 on the bokunoheroacademia hashtag out of so many. Shigaraki POV
"Will they really be all right by themselves?" Kurogiri asks
"Yeah. It's not my turn on the stage right now. They're enough by themselves" I say,"In other words, the game has changed. Up until now it was a roleplaying game, where we had equipment but challenged the last boss at level 1. I should have thought of it as a simulation game. I should be the player, using all the pieces I can to break through the higher ranks. In order to do that, I need to first put cracks into the superhuman society" I explain," The Vanguard Action Squad of the League of Villains. It doesn't matter if those guys succeed or fail. Just the fact that they are there will scare the heroes." I say
"Are they just sacrificial pawns?" Kurogiri asks
"Don't be ridiculous" I say,"Do I look that heartless? Their strength is real. Even though they're all facing different directions, they're comrades I can count on" I say as I pick up two pictures,"In a society bound by rules, we're not the ones being oppressed. I'm praying for their success" I say as I look at a picture of Katsuki Bakugo and Ryuji Takashi from the sports festival
Ryuji POV
As Bakugo and I are walking we start to see pink smoke appear.
"What the hell is this pink shit?!" TNT exclaims
"Well it's obviously gas, but I have never seen this kind, the only thing I can think of is that it might be similar to Midnight's quirk so I wouldn't recommend breathing too much" I explain
"Yeah like I should breathe in this random smoke!" He says sarcastically
"I'm not carrying you if you pass out" I retort
We continue on and eventually we end up stumbling a kid from class B passed out on the ground.
"Told you that it makes you pass out" I say
"Shut the hell up!" He responds
"We should probably take him with us" I say
"Don't think that I'll be the one carrying this useless bastard" Bakugo says
"Sigh, fine I'll carry him since my hands are free" I reluctantly say as I pick the dude up.
We keep on walking but the gas is still here.
"Damn it...is this gas a villain's doing?" TNT asks
"There is a high chance it is, unless Midnight randomly arrived here" I say,"we should probably head back straight to camp instead of going to the finish line" I suggest
"Don't tell me what to d-" Bakugo starts to say but stops
Ahead of us is a person who we can't identify
"Who's there?" I say
"That's...hey, who was in front of us" Bakugo asks
"Tokoyami and Shoji..." I respond
"So pretty...so pretty...No, I have to work...I was captivated..." the mysterious person says,"Oh,no...what beautiful flesh...Oh, don't temp me...I have a job to do..." the person says as they turn around to face us
"Don't fight?!" Bakugo says
"Why is it that every goddam time a villain attack happens I only ever have my watch gauntlets!" I complain as I activate it
