Birds that fly
People that cry
The Sparrow of eternity
Reminds me of our sanity

A sparrow passes by
A sight that caught my eye
You promised I'd never be gone
And said you are the one

The day of my doom
A sparrow passes through my room
I saw a brilliant light
That dragged me to the other side

A sparrow of promise
A shadow that missed
Everything was never accomplished
If you and I were like this

I knew I would never again see
The sparrow of our eternity
Reminds me of our relationship
Until the day I close my eyes and sleep

The sparrow I adored
The only thing that never made me bored
I would wait for you until forever
It's the only way for us to be together

The sparrow I adoredThe only thing that never made me boredI would wait for you until foreverIt's the only way for us to be together

This is the first poem that talks about death and regret. I remember writing this as one of the poems that I included in that English task. It's short and I have no idea what it means.

I have no idea what the "sparrow" could symbolize or what had happened along those lines. I just knew that the narrator somehow died.

I might need your help deciphering this poem of mine so go ahead and comment your thoughts below. :))
