32 | a disaster worth saving

When the moon glows bright and pale
When shadows left not a single trail
When the moods had gone stale
A disaster comes without any avail

Beginnings and endings deserved to die
Eternity should be given a chance to try
Forever must smile very sly
Maybe disasters worth saving would pass me by

Tragedy is what I favored
lifeless creatures, I savored
Suffering could make my life flavored
Deeds, too numerous, blood-red, it's colored

Reality seemed too absurd
For someone like me, there's only one word
Disaster, it's what I heard
From everyone, from first to third

Even when the moon is bright
I lived without the slightest light
Until I saw what fits me right
Someone who never left my sight

Watching is the easiest thing to be done
With my presence, I could wipe out a clan
I could do that without the slightest plan
With me, I cannot be shunned

Having me along was a pain
Good in me has not even lain
All who face me cried in vain
"Death!" yes, that is my name

A helpless creature I came to be fond
I watched as love created a bond
Alas, I took its life with a flick of a hand
Maybe a mistake, maybe a different brand

Is this thing called "love" would feel?
The pain is enough to make you very still
Pain, for once, felt so real
Love and death, apart, that was the deal

Pain clouded what was true
Tragedy affected who knows who
Suffering started without due
The disaster worth saving was you

Pain clouded what was trueTragedy affected who knows whoSuffering started without dueThe disaster worth saving was you

I used to like this poem but reading it now, I don't understand why I liked it before.

It simply didn't make sense. Lol.
