Behold and see
All these wonders be
Come with me
Into the clouds we flee

Take my hand
Let us go to our land
A place as pretty as sand
Come, we shall see and stand

Let the wonders show
All that you can know
Into the place we will go
Peace I will bestow

See beyond
See ahead
See and be held
See and be led

Behold and see
The two of us together
We share out fate forever
Come, see the wonders much better

Come, nestle in my arms
I will be here, whatever comes
Take my hand once more
Into a place we will again soar

Come with me
From the darkness we flee
Into the light of no misery
Come, we shall see, we shall see

Come now, my dear
A pleasant morning is near
Tarry with me and cheer
Come, there is nothing to fear

Come now, my dearA pleasant morning is nearTarry with me and cheerCome, there is nothing to fear

For once, there's a poem that doesn't talk about love and break-ups.

But it's still about love blah blah blah.

I remember writing this for a novel when I was fourteen. It's supposedly a lullaby or something and it is sung to a male MC after the female MC somehow found him sleeping under a tree. I don't know. I forgot the details. I never did get to finish writing that novel.

There are a lot of other thrown-away ideas that I would want to tell you but now's not the time for that.

So, what do you think about this poem? Comment below. :))
