Hopelessness and a declaration.
If Sora went to Seijoh and didn't play volleyball after Shiratorizawa.

"Ah, damn. I'm cold." Sora shuddered as he felt the cold wind past by him. 'Who was it that decided to run early morning?'
"Here, Momo-chan!" Oikawa took off his sweater and handed it to the shivering pink-haired boy.
"I told you to bring your damn jacket," Iwaizumi muttered, slapping the boy's head softly.
Sora chuckled, grabbing the jacket from Oikawa and wearing it. "I was rushing." He smiled happily at the sweater he was wearing, brushing his soft pink locks back as he presented himself to the other two.
The other two gaped at his beauty, staring at the sparkling purple eyes with the sun rising in the background. The orange sky complimented his pink hair as the light kissed his pale skin.
For a second the setter was speechless. Everything felt like it was in slow motion, the surroundings muted as his brown eyes stared at the other. 'Beautiful,' his mind whispered.
Iwaizumi felt the same. He licked his dried lips, trying to avert his eyes but failed. His mind was blank as if his senses but his sight was gone. 'God,' he thought, 'what are you doing?'
"Wow," Breaking away from his thoughts, Oikawa whistled, wrapping his arm around the younger boy's shoulder. "You look even better than me."
The ace chose to stay silent as he turned his head on the side to hide his flustered face.
"Thanks, senpai!" Sora merrily laughed, inching a little closer at the warmth that surrounded him.

He felt a lump on his throat as he watched the girl beside the laughing captain with a soft smile. 'In the end, it's going to be like this.'
Sora observed the soft glint in Oikawa's eyes. His lips upturned as he looked up to the ceiling, accepting defeat without fighting. 'It was hopeless, anyways,' he thought negatively. His chest felt heavy and tears were tempting to fall from his eyes. The pink-haired basketball player turned his head and walked away.
It had been a few weeks since the setter introduced his girlfriend to the team and Sora. She was lovely and kind, someone that the captain deserves with his fragile heart. The team walked in eggshells around the couple. They knew Oikawa was serious with this girl and she was also unlike the previous ones.
"Momo-chan!" Oikawa called, but Sora didn't turn. It wasn't him that the other was calling. As if the universe was mocking his feelings, the girl's first name was Momo. He remembered when the setter first called her in front of them, him running like a stupid puppy to his owner. Oikawa laughed and patted his head, telling him that it wasn't Sora that he called, but his wonderful girlfriend. Sora joined, laughing the pain he felt off. He told Oikawa to call him by his first name to avoid confusion, something he wanted to happen, but not in the same context.
