Authors note - Hi I would really like it if you guys could comment and give me advice so I could give maybe 1 or 2 of you a shoutout or something in each chapter maybe? So first shoutout to kirstenjodie and @vicky1013 for giving me some advice so plz read their stories!
Dodgers pov:
I hug Nico until she stops crying which isn't until 2 hours. My girlfriend Sienna isn't awake yet and I've been holding back my tears for Nico. I was going to propose today and had the diamond ring in my pocket where Nico was resting her head on. 'Dad, what's this?' Nico asks suspiciously. 'Hmmm? Oh... Um... I was going to propose today!' I say half happy and half sad remembering why I didn't. 'Omg dad! I would've been really happy if you did!' Nico says to me smiling. 'You know that's the first time you've smiled since we got here. I don't blame you though,' I say sympathetically for my daughter. She snuggles up to me and we end up falling asleep.
'Daddy!' Nico screams. 'Hmmm? Nico? What's up?' I say yawning noisily.' It's mum! She's up!' Nico screams joyfully. I look over at Sienna and she is up, smiling. 'Oh Sienna! I love you! Please don't scare us again!' I say hugging her tightly. Sienna starts crying joyfully and we tell her about the baby.
Sienna's pov:
'You had the baby!' My boyfriend Mark says to me. 'Wait, I did? How? When? I can't remember...' I say thinking hard. 'No you were in a coma for quite a while babe I'm glad that your up!' Mark says to me gleefully. He then whispers something to Nico and she grins. But I don't pay attention for too long because I'm already thinking about names for the baby!
Nico's pov:
'How about I propose to Sienna when we throw her a big welcoming him party?' Dad asks. I nod gleefully and then hug my mum glad that she's awake. 'Oh mummy please don't leave me again!' I say sounding like a baby, but I didn't care because I loved her and meant what I said. 'Oh baby I promise I won't!' Mum says stroking my hair. I lean away from my mum and whisper in my dads ear, 'Lindsey says she can come back tomorrow afternoon so tomorrow morning I'll get everything ready!' I say excitedly. My dad nods and mum asks what's going on. We say nothing then end up texting each other rather than whisper.
Text:
Nico: I'll do a pathway which leads to the dog and we can throw the party and propose there!
Dad: Great idea I'll put a blindfold on her as well!
Nico: So it's sorted then?
Dad: Yes x
Sienna's pov:
'Can we call it Sophie?' I ask cheerfully. 'Call what Sophie?' Mark asks weirdly. 'The baby?' I say slowly. 'Sure!' Mark says.
