"some eyes touch you more than hands ever could."

"is there something you aren't telling me, mr. kim?"

taehyung raised an eyebrow, an amused look on his face.

"what makes you think that, mr. jeon?"

joonwoo chuckled as he shifted from the office's huge glass windows.

taehyung had been purposely early today for no reason only to be greeted by joonwoo inside the office, scaring the living daylights out of him.

"then care to explain how you knew where to find my son?" the former ceo asked, as he picked up the bunny paperweight, toying with it.

quite astonishingly, jeongguk looked nowhere near his father. joonwoo had far sharper and chiselled features, strict but playful eyes and face scattered with mirth lines. his son on the other hand was slightly chubbier with sleek jaw and pretty doe eyes.

"jeongguk told me that he was going out for dinner with his friends at the local bar. just a wild guess, really." taehyung quipped, slipping his hands inside his pockets, leaning against the wall.

he watched as joonwoo set the paperweight down and approached him.

"look, taehyung. if there's anything i can do for you. anything at all. i'll be there. hmm?" joonwoo said, placing a hand on his arm.

taehyung nodded, looking at the floor.

"and please. don't hide anything from me, i want to find that bastard as much as you want to."

taehyung sighed and looked into the older's ageing eyes and gave a firm nod of his head.

"yes."

joonwoo smiled before moving towards the door.

"also. are jeongguk and you inside here alone. all the time?"

taehyung squeezed his eyes shut, fighting back a smile as he looked at a smirking joonwoo.

"your son ain't my type, sir."

joonwoo grinned, raising his two fingers in a casual salute before leaving the room, closing the door behind.
