Missing Each Other

     Their flight for Amritsar was at eleven in the morning. It was a busy morning. Suresh has brought his sister's daughter Alka to help Sana look after Zoro. She was a twenty years sweet girl. Maa has insisted that Sana take Alka too with her. Sana's  parents and Alka had travel with the driver to the airport. Sana was with Sid and the baby in another car. On the way to the airport Zoro started crying. Sana tried to coax him but to no avail. He was wailing by the time they reached the airport.
Sid: Kya hua hai isse?? Kyu ro raha hai vo itna??
Sana: Bhuk lagi hai usse Siddharth.
Sid: To ghar se feed karke nikalna chahiye the na. Kitna ro raha hai vo.
Sana: Koshish ke the nikalne se pehle. Par vo nhi pi raha tha.
Sid: Ab kya?? Aise to tu use andar nhi le jaa sakti.
Sana: Mai car me bait ke feed karti hu. Vaha peeche se meri shawl de.
Sid: Nahi yaha nhi. Back seat par bait.
    He called Sana's parents and told them to be inside the car for ten minutes. He went out unlocked her car door and took the baby from her arms.
Sid: Back seat pe bait.
    She went to the back seat and he gave the baby to her.
Sana: Zoro, baby aap ne mama ko daat padvai na papa se. Gande bacche.
He too came and sat on the back seat. Zoro had gone quite suckling by the time Sid came. His tiny palm in a closed fist hanging in the air. He took the baby's hand in his. He was going to miss him so much. Looking at Zoro's  hand in his, tears started forming behind his eyes. He bend and kissed the baby's  hand. Sana became emotional  looking at this. Zoro was so lucky. She had been lucky too, but had lost all this love and tenderness due to her own foolishness.
Sid: Zoro papa's going to miss you, baby.
    He sat upright looking out of the window, until Zoro has had his full.
He had fallen asleep again.
Sana: Siddharth.....
Sid: (Still looking out of the window) I'm going to miss my baby.
Sana: Aur muje??
    He turned and looked at her. Their eyes locked. He was the first to look away.
Sid: Chale??
   Sana nodded. He went out opened her door and took the baby in his arms. She too got down and went towards her parents. Sid had greeted Sana's mummy papa goodbye. He kissed Zoro and transferred him in Sana's arms. Their eyes met. He didn't wanted them to go. But his anger and ego was too big to stop them. He saw them go inside with heavy heart.
    Sid had come home. It felt empty. He went to his room to the fragrance of baby soap and powder. He opened the wardrobe and saw Sana's kurti hanging on the hanger. He picked it up and smelled it. It had Sana's fragrance. He kept it back remembering that he is angry with her. He can't stay in this room. The memories here are to strong. He will shift up to the guest room for the time being. Removing some of the things he transferred it to the guest room. Maa was seeing this.
Sid: Apna saamaan thode dino ke leye guest room me shift kar raha hu. Apne room se bore ho gaya hu.
Maa: Yeh kyu nhi kehta ke tu vo room me Sana ko miss kar raha hai.
Sid: Sana ko nhi apne baby ko.
Maa: Accha to tu Sana ko miss nhi kar raha.
Sid: Kya sunna chahti ho aap Maa.  Ha bahot miss karta hu usse mai. Aaj he nhi. Roz karta hu. Par mai usse bahot bahot gussa hu. Usne baby aur khud ko danger me daala. Mai nhi karunga usse baat.

Maa: Siddharth jab tak tum dono akele me bait kar baat nhi karte yeh problem solve nhi hone wala. Usse insecurities hai tuje leke. Kyuki usse apni value nhi pata. Sona hai vo ladki. Khara sona. Vo tuje lekar possessive hai kyuki uske leye tu he uski duniya hai.
Sid: Aur mere leye bhi to vohi hai na Maa??

    Sid had not called Sana. He had not stopped her from coming here. She was worried now. She had called Mahi before leaving.

     And now she is here in her parents home far away from him and he has called her papa to ask if they reached safely. This was too frustrating.
    It's been five days Sana is here and he has not talked to her even once. She was missing him so much. She would cry herself to sleep every night. He would video call on Shehbaaz's phone to see Zoro. He would talk to Zoro as if he was going to respond. But he never asked for her. Mummy has noticed this and asked her what the problem was. She has told her, that they had, had a fight and everything will be fine. Her bijee and dadajee were very happy to have them. But Sana was not feeling right about her being here. One evening Sana got a call from Moni.
Sana: Tujse mai bahot naraaz hu. Siddharth ne call kiya fir bhi tu nhi aayi.
Moni: Sana mummy ke tabiyat thek nhi hai yaar. Kya karu.
Sana: Ok. Thek hai. Jab vo thek ho jaaye to aa jaana.
Moni: Pakka. Par tu yaha Punjab me kya kar rahi hai. Aur Siddharth ne tuje aane kaisi diya.
    She told her everything.
Moni: Sana space, vace to thek hai. Par agar in panch deeno me ek baar bhi baat nhi ke to tune usse call karke baat karni chahiye na??
Sana: Muje lagta nhi vo call uthayega mera.
Moni: Tune try ki??
Sana: Nahi. Moni vo mujse gussa hai. Vo shehbaaz ke mobile pe call karke zoro se baat karta hai. Par mujse nhi. Muje kitna bura lagta hoga?? Kya shuruvat se saari galti sirf meri the?? Kya uski koi galti nhi the?? Fir akele muje he sazaa kyu??

Sana: Moni tu thek keh rahi hai. Muje yahi karna chahiye.
    She told her parents she is going back home. Called Maa and told her too. Insisted that she doesn't tell anything to Sid.
Sana: Maa aap chinta na karo. Mai Shehbaaz ke sath aa rahi hu.
Maa: Thek hai, mai airport car bhej dungi.
Sana: Thek hai Maa.
    Sid was ready and waiting at the dinning table for his breakfast. He had a ad shoot today. He had not slept well as he was missing Sana terribly. He was carving for her. Her fragrance, her touch, her beautiful smile, her giggling like a baby. Missing everything was making him crazy. He has many a times typed a message to her, expressing all the pain, the hurt, the anger, the love for her. But then deleted it. He wanted to call her and tell her to come back, but then didn't. He will call her today after the shoot. He decided. He will tell her to come back. He will beg if needed. And if she doesn't agree, he will go and fetch her.
    He saw Maa was distracted. Suresh was also happy today.
Sid: Kya hua Maa aap itne restless kyu hai?? Aur yeh Suresh aaj itna khush khush kyu hai. Gaane gun guna raha hai yeh to aaj. Kya baat hai Suresh??
    The door bell rang and Maa and Suresh rushed to the door. Confused he too stood and went slowly towards the door. He stood stunned. Sana was standing with Zoro in her arms, smiling at Maa. Was he dreaming. Realising he is not, he rushed to the door.
Sid: Kya hua Sana?? Tu ekdum se yaha?? Aise??
    Unknowingly he had taken Zoro from her arms and held him protectively to his chest, still looking at his beautiful love. Sana has not answered Sid.
Sid: Mai kuch puch raha hu tuje??
Sana: Yeh mera ghar hai. Muje yaha aane ke leye kisike izaazat chahiye kya??
    She stepped inside with Shehbaaz and Alka following her.
