"No way this works."

"Come on... I saw it in a YouTube '100IQ V.S 0IQ' montage it has to work."

"Was it the 100IQ play or the 0IQ? Cause this very much seems like a 0IQ play right now."

George rolled his eyes and turned his attention back to crafting.

"Can't you have a sliver of trust in me?"

"Usually I do, but this... ehhhh...."

Dream made a face and leaned against the obsidian portal frame as he watched George craft.

"Bruh moment."

"Says you. You pushed me as soon as you came through the portal, even though you knew it was me."

"It's instinct."

George rolled his eyes and put his hands on his hips, turning to look at Dream.

"iTs iNstIncT. iM dReaM aNd I sPeEdrUn thIngS anD pUsH mY frIenDs oFf cLiFfS. Why? CaUsE iTs INStInCT!"

"Eheyananananana" Dream mimicked.

George picked up the crafting table, storing it into his inventory, { ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) } then shot a look at Dream.

"You are free to build down yourself. But my way is one, faster. Two, easier and three, it doesn't give Sapnap a direct path towards us."

Dream was silent.

"Crap, those are some good arguments."

George was surprised at this. It was uncommon to get Dream to admit to anything. He was a stubborn one.

"But-"

Well, nothing good lasts forever.

"Your method is crazy, and if it doesn't work we get dropped into a pit of lava."

Death was a reasonable argument.

George shrugged and pulled out his cobblestone, beginning to pillar up towards the nether roof.

Dream gazed at George with a weary eye, his head slowly tilting back more to keep his gaze locked on his friend.

"What are you doing?"

"Doing the thing."

"Don't do the thing."

George giggled and peered over the tower and gave a cheery wave.

"Take-off in one minute."

Dream let out a huff and slowly began to tower up to George's great delight.

He met his friends height, gazing down upon the nether, wrinkling his nose in nervousness.

George was angling himself towards a nearby cliff standing out below them on the nether waste biome. The cliff was a good 25 blocks away, which was 24 blocks too wide for Dream.

"George... this better work. If it doesn't I'm gonna find you in the after life and kill you again."

"Touché."

The boys lapsed into a small silence.

Taking a deep breath, George swapped to the boat in his hot bar and placed it down, angling it at the cliff below them.

He vaulted over the edge and seated himself comfortably in the front of the boat, grabbing the paddles and grinned up at Dream.

Letting out a weird noise, half out of fear and half of annoyance, Dream climbed into the boat behind his friend and wrapped his arms around George.

"This better work."

George gulped, suddenly very aware of his actions. Fear crept up on him, and he suddenly started to have second thoughts.

Well...

YOLO!

He made a circular motion with his paddles, and the boat launched forward, off their platform and towards the cliff below them.

Fear spiked in George's chest, and all he could focus on was rowing the paddles and propelling the ship forward.

Behind him however, he heard Dream let out a whoop in joy, and the arms around him pulled back.

George spared a quick glance back and saw Dream had thrown his hands in the air and his eyes were shut.

Realization slowly started to creep up in his chest, as he realized that they were short.

"Dream-"

Dreams eyes sprung open, and they widened, as the cogs in his brain started to turn.

Dream stood up in the boat, throwing it off balance and tipping it backwards.

"DrEAM!"

Suddenly, George was pulled off the boat as Dream sprung off the wooden craft, aiming for the cliffside.

They were falling short...

Falling...

Falling...

Falling...

Dream pulled out some cobblestone and quickly managed to block clutch on the ledge, pulling George to safety after he successfully landed on it.

The boat tumbled into the giant lake of lava, burning into cinders and being reduced from existence.

They both pulled themselves onto the netherack, which was both smooth yet had a rough texture on it. The two of them just lay there, with nothing but the crackling fire and the bubbling lava.

"That... was so stupid."

Dream burst into laughter, rolling over to look at George.

"You okay?"

"Oh man, I just nearly died. Yeah I'm doing fine!"

"I'll note the sarcasm. Well, you were the one who was so determined to do it."

George sighed, knowing that there was really no way for him to win his argument.

"It was cool though."

There was a small silence, before George heard the other sigh.

"Yeah, it was cool."
