Kai's face and mine were still in the same position it had been before. Inches apart, neither one of us moving from the shock we had.
I heard their footsteps getting closer and closer to the bedroom. I quickly shoved Kai back, which made him hit his back on the bed and threw him his phone that was on the ground. He luckily caught it and I looked back at the mirror pretending that I was taking some pictures. Kai knew what I was doing since he looked at me in the mirror and nodded.
Just about 3 seconds later, the door busted open, and both my face and Kai's looked at theirs.
"See, they're awake you dumbass," Ria said.
Slater shrugged and turned his attention back to us.
"What are you guys doing?" He said.
"Well, I was taking some pictures and Kai just came into the room and sat down because he was bored?" I said questionably.
They both looked at us like we were crazy.
Slater looked at Kai who nodded then Ria looked at me and I nodded.
"Um okay, forget about that. Today is Amelia's-"
"Birthday," Kai said finishing her sentence.
Ria nodded her head excitedly while Slater just stood there on his phone.
Great, the bitch's birthday arrived. I guess Kai remembered it, I mean obviously because he finished her sentence. I wonder if Ria-
"And you both are coming, right?" She said.
Well, that answers my thought.
I looked at Kai who nodded and then Ria looked at me.
"I don't know, she never invited me and I bet she doesn't even want me there," I said.
"Why do you say that?" Ria said confused.
"They're not exactly besties, like you both," Kai said.
I gave Ria an awkward smile then she said,
"I'm sure she won't mind and plus, you're coming with me, with us, so you'll be fine. I'll just tell her that I invited you and if she gets mad, I'll handle it." Ria said with a big smile.
"What did I do to deserve you," I said then got up and gave her a big long hug.
She laughed then said,
"Let's go find you an outfit!"
We both left the boys in the bedroom and went to someplace Ria was taking me.
