Chapter 14

I adjusted the earpiece and covered it with my hair.

We were all sitting in the van. We as in Kai, Slater, Ria, Amelia, and I. The other members were just with us in the Anonymous mansion as I like to call it just to help us set everything up. Ria helped me touch up my makeup while Amelia started at me in disgust. 

"You ready," said Kai.

I nodded even though I felt like I wasn't ready.

"Good luck." Ria said.

I smiled then got out of the van and walked to the club. 

I got into the line and got a lot of shouts from people since I cut them all off. Ria and Slater got me a VIP card to speed up the process. 

"Here you go," I said showing my card.

The bouncer nodded and opened the doors for me. I walked in and looked around.

I haven't been to a club since the other night when I came with Scar and her friends. I miss her so much but now wasn't the time to think about her, I had a life or death situation on my hands.

I turned on my earpiece and made my way to the bar.

"I'm in," I said whispering.

"Okay, our targets name is Corey Klit. Brown hair and brown eyes. He should be wearing a suit. He's at the bar you're heading to. Play it cool and let him start a conversation first." Slater said.

"Okay," I said.

I took a seat next to him and ordered a gin and tonic.

The bartender gave me my drink and a note underneath it.

It said "Call me" with a number below it. 

I looked at him and nodded and he walked away to serve other people.

Thank god that's done. 

I looked at Corey. He really was attractive and he seemed to be occupied with his phone. 

He started to get up and leave the bar. I started panicking and said this,

"I didn't get to even buy you a drink and you're already leaving?"

He turned around and looked at me. We held eye contact and he came back and took a seat. I smiled and ordered him a martini. 

I went to take a sip of my drink.

"What's your name gorgeous?" He said.

"Use a fake name." Ria said in the earpiece.

"April Cropper. What about you handsome?"

I could hear someone coughing in the earpiece.

"Noah Pollis." He said.

Well looks like someone else is also trying to hide their identity. 

I moved closer to him and put my hand on his face, trailing around his cheekbones. 

I smiled and leaned into his ear. 

"I have to go to the restroom." I said.

I got up, winked and went to go to the restroom. I was really hoping he would follow behind me. 

I got inside and pretended to touch up my makeup. The bathroom was empty so now would be a great time for him to come. 

The door opened up and there he was.

I smiled and turned around. He walked over to me and grabbed my waist and pulled me in for a kiss. I put my hands around his neck and he lifted me up and pushed me against the wall. He started giving me neck kisses and I reached into my pocket and slowly got out a shot that Kai gave me which would make him fall asleep. 

I went to inject it into his neck but he grabbed my arm and stopped me.

"Are you sure that April Cropper is your real name?" He said looking me straight in the eye.

I smiled.

"I could say the same about you Corey Klit."

"Elise, what are you doing!" Kai said.

I took out my earpiece and threw it onto the ground. I kicked him back and tied up my hair. 

"This is going to be fun." He said.

"It is indeed." I said.

I locked the door next to me. I had no idea what got into me, but one thing I damn knew for sure was that I was a good fighter and I was going to win.
