Spencer groans awake and wipes a bit of drool away from her face. She squints at the white light shining through the window. As she stands up and stares out at the white landscape, she takes a step back, a lump rising in her throat. She really hates this color. Spencer yanks the curtains closed and sighs. She doesn't want to go out today. Now while it's snowing. It's too familiar.

Spencer sighs and sits on her bed. She pulls a blanket around her shoulders and turns the TV on. She surfs for a bit, but she stops on a news coverage from New York. "It has been 2 weeks since Spiderman has been sighted in the city. It's left us to wonder, has the red and blue menace finally left us? Or is there more to it than we know?" Spencer stares at the TV in shock. Peter- Spiderman hasn't been sighted? That can't be right.

Peter went out as Spiderman everyday. Did something happen to him? Spencer's eyes start to burn and she looks at her laptop. She knows she shouldn't but... She's worried about him. What if something happened to him?

Spencer grabs her laptop and enters her new systems. She made sure this one is undetectable, and even more unhackable, but she tries her best to stay offline. An extra precaution.

Peter blankley stares out the window as the teacher gives their lesson. It's raining. He used to love swinging in the rain. The cool air in his lungs, and the feeling of raindrops hitting his suit. But that's not who he is anymore.

Peter's phone buzzes and he sneakily pulls it out. The message on it makes his eyebrows crease.

Peter stares at the emoji. Was this a wrong number? It was the mute emoj- Then it hits him. The Mute. Spencer! Peter stands from his seat in the class and grabs his backpack, leaving as the teacher stares at him in shock. "Peter! Get back here!" Peter ignores him and runs out of the school, not caring that rain is pelting on him. In front of the school he hunches over his phone and stares at the text.

What does he say? Is she in trouble? Does she need him? Should I even reply? Could this just be a trap? Peter jumps when a new message comes through.

Spider? What does that mean? Peter shakes his head and begins typing, but his finger hovers above the send button. He closes his eyes and presses it.

Peter smiles brightly. It was her. It's been a year, and he's finally talking to her. But why through emojis? Then he realizes. She's being careful. Ross could have tapped into Peter's phone. Peter's phone dings again.

Peter frowns at the link and enters it. An article about Spiderman missing pops up and he quickly exits out of it. He shakes his head and starts walking away from the school.

Peter:
I'm sorry. I can't do it without you.

Peter looks at the message as he decodes it's meaning. She's sad? And... is she asking for Spiderman... please? Is she asking for Spiderman to come back? He purses his lips.

Peter:
I can't Spencer. I miss you.

Peter rushes under a canopy as the rain hits harder. He looks at the message through the raindrops that hit his phone. Fist.. punch? No... Fight? Fight for... girl... her? Fight for her? Spencer wants him to do it for her?
