I smile and get butterflies at Jadens comment like oh my. I refresh my comments and see Mads comment she was coming. A minute later she barges in my room and shows me Jadens comment. "Baby?!" She says smiling. I laugh "Yeah, he asked to date last night." She sits on the bed as she bounces up and down "Yessss!! I've been waiting!!" I smile and hug her. "Sorry if it hurts you to see him move on for the first time since you guys broke up." She pulls away and looks at me. "Y/n/n, I told you. Jaden and I are better off friends. It doesn't hurt me. It actually makes me so happy you guys are official." I smile, "Uh so am I!" I look at my door to see Josh I laugh and stand up and hug him. "If he hurts you it will be the last thing he does." He says serious. "Yeah, I agree. You are way too precious to be hurt by him." I smile at Mads add-on to Josh's statement. "I love you guys." I say and Mads joins the hug. "We love you more." They both say. "Save some room for me" I hear Jaden say and then he joins the group hug. "Josh this is when we run" they both run out the room, closing the door. "They are so weird, I swear." Jaden says laughing and shaking his head while pulling me into a hug.
"Y/n..?" Bryce says kinda teary eyed. as he walks in the room. "Bryce whats wrong?" I let go of Jaden and hug Bryce. "Jaden, can we uh?" He says as his voice breaks. Jaden nods and leaves the room. I take Bryces arm and pull us to the bed and we sit down. "Bryce? What's wrong?" "I got a call today." He clears his throat. "Dad was found uhm" He looks away and wipes his tears. I put pieces together. "No..." Bryce nods. "He overdosed on drugs." I look at him "He never told me he did drugs... why wouldn't he tell me?" Bryce shrugs, "He knew you were going to help and he didn't want help." I take a depe breath. "And I feel like a piece of shit for crying because how he treated you the past few years but I just wasn't around to see that and he was the bast dad he could be to us before I left." I nod, "Don't feel like that. He is our dad Bryce. We had more years of having the best father then I've had when he went downhill" My voice breaks and I rub his back. "Are you okay?" He looks at me. I nod, "Yeah. Although good outweighs the bad, I found the bad... pretty bad. I mean, don't get me wrong I am extremely upset but, I don't know. my emotions just won't come out" I exhale deeply. "Maybe you aren't upset." I look at Bryce. "No, no. I am, it's just... I don't know." he nods and we both stand up and he goes to leave. "Bryce?" He turns around and I tear falls down my face. "The last thing I said to him was 'Not my problem.' I was mocking him. I asked him where I was going to go and he said it wasn't his problem. When I was leaving he asked what would happen if something happened to him." I start crying more "And I told himit wasn't my problem." Bryce walks over to me and hugs me tight. "I am so sorry." I shake my head, "No, Bryce, dont be sorry. You lost the same person." He nods. "I know but the last thing I said to him was that I love him" I sigh and take a deep breath and start sobbing some more. "I didn't mean it when I said that to him. I was just upset." Bryce starts rubbing my back "Hey, hey... it's okay." I pull away from the hug. "I should uhm, clean myself up." He nods and smiles and walks out the room. I go into the bathroom and wipe off the running mascara. Someone opens the door pretty aggresivley. I look at the door through the mirror and see Jaden. "Are you okay?" I nod and smile. "Don't lie to me. I want to help you if you aren't okay." I nod and I start tearing up. He comes over to me and hugs me. I pull away. "No, don't be sorry for me. I don't like when people are. sorry for me. It is my problem, not yours." I look away as a tear runs down my face. "Stop." He wipes the tear and places me on the counter. "It pains me to see you upset. If it is your problem, it is mine from now on. Okay, baby?" I smile and sgtart to blush. "Okay." I close my eyes tight to let whatever tears were there to fall out and I wipe them. "Do you want to go downstairs or just lay down?" I shrug "I want to go to bed." He nods. "Okay, then lets go to bed." I smile and we walk to my bed. We lay down and he holds me. "You don'thave to go to bed right now." He smiles. "I know. I just want to hold you and makesure your okay." I smile and kiss his cheek. "Thank you." I lay my head on his chest and he startsplaying with my hair.
