Party Bust

I wake up from Bryce coming in the door, "Y/n!" I sit up and hold my head, "Why do you have the music blasting so early oh my god." He smiles, "A party." I look at him like he's insane. "A party? It's not even night yet." Josh walks in, "Actually it is. I didn't let anyone wake you up because Nessa and I didn't give you much sleep." I smile at Josh. "Thank you, but what do you want?" I look back over at Bryce since he was the one rushing in my room yelling my name. "There's police and you're really good at this stuff so... hurry?" He smiles and leaves the room with no explanation. I shake my head and stand up. I walk over to Jaden's closet and I grab a big hoodie and put it on. 

I go to the stairs and I see Mads and Jaden getting really close at the bottom of the stairs. I get to the bottom stair and I squeeze in between them, not saying anything. "Y/n," I hear Jaden call and I don't look behind me. I walk outside and close the door behind me. "Hi!" I greet the two officers. "Officer Lentz and this is my partner Officer Stewart. I assume you are Y/n Hall?" I nod. Two girl officers, this will be harder than I thought. "We came because of a noise complaint and also a stench of drugs. Weed to be exact." I nod, "Noise complaint I can totally understand and I will 100% turn the music down as soon as I step foot inside. I definitely understand that complaint because I also was complaining," We all laugh a little. "But the drugs... I know for a fact the boys who live here wouldn't use drugs again so someone must have brought them. I understand if you have to shut the party down and if they don't listen to you, they will listen to me no doubt. How do you normally come about this drug situation?" I ask and they both look at each other. "Well, we normally would search everyone but this party has a lot of people it would take hours, honestly. So we couldn't do it." I nod and think, "Would you like to come in? I can get the microphone from the DJ and I could get them to stop, I wouldn't be able to find out who has the drugs but I can get them to stop." They nod and follow me inside to the living room. I move the microphone in my direction and turn off the music. "Excuse me?" I say loudly and everyone looks at me confused. "If you have drugs on you right now, I suggest you stop using them tonight, please. You all know how I feel about drugs so please stop because I care about every single one of you deeply. If I do find out you personally have the drugs on you, I will turn you in myself. Stop using drugs." I look over at Jaden and see Mads isn't with him anymore. "Officers, do you have an input?" I back away from the mic and they talk but I zone out looking into the crowd for Mads. "Y/n, you okay?" The officer asks and I snap back into my mind, "Oh... yeah. Thank you." They smile, "No, thank you!" I walk them out and run back over to the mic. "We all know you don't have the heart to turn us in." I look over at Ryland. I roll my eyes, "You might be right but I will beat your ass if I find out." I sigh and blank out again. "Y/n?" I hear Josh say next to my ear as he hugs me. I jump a little, "Stop using the drugs, please. I don't want to say it again." I let go of the hug and Microphone and walk away. "Y/n, you okay?" I look behind me and see Nick. I smile and give him a big hug. "I honestly don't know, I keep zoning out and when I zone back in I feel... sad." He looks confused, "Here, let me take you to Jaden." He grabs my hand and walks over to the steps. "Jaden? Were you watching her up there?" Jaden looks at me and Nick's hands. "Yeah. Why?" Nick lets go of my hand, "I think she needs you or something, maybe you can help her or figure it out." Jaden looks at me confused and pulls me into a tight hug. "Thank you, Nick," Jaden says and Nick walks away. "What were you talking to Mads about?" He sighs, "That's what you were thinking about?" I shrug, "I don't know it's just that... the whole hug things, which I am over but I started overthinking, and her lying to me about staying in your bed the whole time I was gone." He nods, "I know baby, I was actually talking to her about the whole lying thing and she wouldn't talk to me about it." He kisses my forehead and lets go of the hug. "You should try talking to her." He grabs my hand and takes me out to the back yard. 

I look into Jaden's eyes and smile. My smile slowly turns into a straight face the more I look into his eyes. "Open your mouth." He looks at me confused and opens his mouth. I smell his breath, "You smoked?" He closes his eyes and exhales deeply and opens them again. "Yeah, yeah I did." I smile and nod, "Okay. Thank you for being honest." I smile and walk over to Mads whose sitting down on a chair, "Hi" I say kind of annoyed. She smiles slightly. "Where've you been?" she shrugs, "Mads why did you lie about sleeping over here every day?" She looks down, breaking eye contact. "I don't know, okay? It just slipped out and I went along with it. You have every reason to be mad at me." I nod, "Yeah, I know I do. You are my best friend Mads. You lied to me, and then you suddenly ghosted me for a few weeks, and," she cuts me off, "I know, I know."  She gets up and walks away. "So that's it? I don't see you for a while after being lied to and you're the one walking away again?" I walk up to her and look at her in the face. "I will be the one to walk away this time." I walk back over to where I was just sitting and nick comes running out, "Y/n, Jadens about to start a fight. Everyone's trying to stop him but no one can, I think you could. Mads is trying really hard and can't so... yeah." I stand up "What? With who?" I run inside and see Tony. I groan and push my way through the crowd that's videoing and cheering, taking sides. "Jaden!" I say getting to the center with him and he looks at me and Tony rolls his eyes. "Great. I'm trying to start a fight with Jaden and his tiny bodyguard comes in." I walk in between them and Mads backs away from Jaden. I face Tony and look at him dead in the eyes to make him uncomfortable, "Listen... I am so sorry that you don't have someone to love you enough that when you get into bad things, they can just walk up to you and get you to stop so fast. It really feels amazing how fast someone can change your actions. And I do not ever, act like you don't want me around because you would do anything for me to even look at you." I turn around to Jaden and I hear everyone's 'oooo''s. Tony grabs my arm and I turn around and slap Tony. Jaden tries to go after him. "Jaden!" I say turning around and I grab his face, "Look at me." He looks at Tony still, with frustration on his face. I look into his red and dilated eyes, remembering he smoked. I nod, "Look at me, right now Jaden." He looks at me and looks annoyed. I take a deep breath and he does the same. I look at everyone else, "Sorry to uhm, keep you away from the 'tea' but Jaden and I need to speak alone." I grab Jadens hand "Don't worry, we'll be able to hear you screaming." I hear someone say and I turn in the direction. "That isn't how y/n handles situations. Y/n is calm, and always turns things on herself to make the other person not feel guilty or upset. She is the complete opposite." I smile at Josh and walk to Jaden's room.

"Your mad?" I hear Jaden ask as I turn around facing him after locking the door. He sits down on his bed and I sit next to him. "No. What started the fight. And I suggest you not lie because I will see the videos everywhere." He nods, "He was... talking about you in a very sexual way to me." I sigh, "Okay." He looks at me confused. "You really aren't mad?" I shake my head. "No, baby, I'm not." He kisses me and then feels up my body. "Jaden..." I back away and he looks at me. "I'm sorry, it's just this marijuana makes me feel... different." I laugh and give him a quick kiss, "It's okay." He lays down, "I need sleep." I nod, "Me too." I get changed into a big shirt of Jadens and cuddle up next to him. "Good night, babe. Thank you for everything. I love you forever." I smile at Jaden, "Good night, baby. Of course, thank you for everything too. And I love you so much more." He kisses my forehead, "Never." I nod, "Always."
