"You think they're no good together?" Bryce asks as I sit down after just waking up. "What are we talking about?" I say looking towards everyone. "Nick was just saying how he agrees with us on the whole Griff and Mads situation." I look at Jaden and nod. "Yeah, for Mad's sake, they are not good together. They fight all the time but makeup with some uhm, really really rough, uh, yeah. The whole house can hear them." I look confused, "The whole house? What house?" Josh says and I nod, agreeing with him as I turn back to Nick. "Yeah, Hype House." Bryce looks at me confused as hell. "Wait... Griff and Mads are staying at Hype?" Jaden asks as Nick nods after. "Griff?" Josh calls out and we all get quiet waiting for a response. "Oh, no, Griff isn't here. No idea where he is. I woke up and he wasn't in his bed anymore." I nod at Nick and take my phone out of my pocket and call Griffin.

I walk into the kitchen and lean against the counter as I wait for him to pick up the facetime. Me and Griffin are okay but not really close. I never really liked him and being around him made me feel gross. "Hey?" He answers looking confused. "Hey, where are you?" He sets his phone on something so he isn't holding it anymore. "I'll be home soon." I scoff. "Aren't you already home?" He looks at me confused as he takes off his shirt and starts working out. "You saying I'm fit?" He laughs and I keep a straight face as everyone comes into the kitchen but stays quiet and out of frame. "No, I am saying I am not a dumbass and I stayed at the Hype House for a while. I know where you are." He shakes his head. "I'm at the gym." I groan, "Yeah, the Hype House gym. Stop playing dumb." He sets the dumbbell down and picks up his phone. "What are you even asking." I roll my eyes, "Is Hype your new house?" He shakes his head, "What, no!" I nod and Josh nudges my arm. "Give me a moment." I mute myself and make the phone face the ceiling. "Leave him alone, he said he isn't in Hype, okay." I nod at Josh, "Yeah I know that he said that but I also know he's lying," I go to unmute myself and Bryce stops me, "How do you know?" I groan, "Oh my gosh, just trust me for once!" I unmute myself and point the camera at me again. "Sorry, but just tell the truth, Griff," I say with attitude and he shakes his head. "I just think Hype and Me have more in common than Sway and Me. I feel like we belong here." I nod, "We as in... you and Mads?" He looks at me and sighs, "Look I am sorry," He says as I cut him off, "Oh but do you feel sorrow for not being around Sway anymore and not telling a single boy that you don't want to be apart of it? You know, the boys that are your best fucking friends?" He goes to say something and I cut him off again, "Meet me at Saddle Ranch at 5." He looks confused and I hang up. "What are you doing?" They all look at me and I shake my head. "Going to be civil. No one is coming with me." I go upstairs and get dressed.

"Hi," Griffin says coming up to me in front of Saddle Ranch, nervous. I smile, awkwardly, "Hey." A worker comes up to seat us, "Could we get a seat inside? Hollywood Fix would kinda be all over us and spreading lies." The worker shakes her head, "Sorry, no room inside." I shrug, "That's fine." He looks at me as we get seated. "Remind me, again why you invited me here?" I nod, "I wanted to just clear things up." He nods, "Right, will you actually listen?" I nod, "Of course, I am not the boys. I know I was a little harsh over the phone but I've calmed down." He nods, "Well, first off, why do you care so much I am not in Sway?" I sigh, "It's not that I don't care you aren't in Sway. I mean, I do, for the boy's sake, but it's Mads. You really aren't any good for her, Griff." He nods, "We are different people together." He says and I nod, "Yeah, I totally agree! She brings out the best in you and you bring out the worst in her. When she was single, she was amazing and the best she could be. When you were single, you were... different, for sure." He rolls his eyes, "You don't know what happens behind closed doors." I nod, "You are right, and I am sorry for judging. But enough of romantic relationships, why didn't you just tell people you were leaving Sway?" He shrugs, "I can't leave Sway. Well, I can but I wouldn't be able to join Hype House. It's a contract thing." I nod, "What does Hype have that Sway doesn't for you?" He pulls his hood up more toward his face, not answering. "Ooo! I know!" He looks up at me, "your best friends." We order our food having a civil, nice conversation and then Hollywood Fix shows up next to the gate we are against. "Y/n Hall and Griffin Johnson, the fans want to know, is this a date?" Is the first thing that comes out of their mouth. "Do the fans really want to know? Because social media didn't know we were here until you came, so no one would've asked that. And no, it is not. I am not stupid enough to great Griffin. We are having a civil conversation, just the two of us, sorting out problems, privately" I emphasize the 'privately.' "How are you and Jaden?" the camera with the bright light points at me. I squint my eyes as I block the light with my hand. "We are the best we could ever be. And we are also more of a private relationship. Don't ask any more questions to me and Griffin, please. And I apologize for being rude, I am just having a really rough few weeks and I don't need it publicized yet, please leave." "Griffin, how is your love life?" The Hollywood Fix person says, ignoring my suggestion. "Okay, we can pay at the front desk, lets go," I say to Griffin and walk inside the place to the front desk. We split the paycheck and walk out in front of the restaurant. "I actually enjoyed this. You seem like a great friend." I nod at him, "Yeah, I just... can't be friends if you are bad for my best friend, uhm, ex-best friend, I am sorry." He shrugs as we walk to our cars. "Mads, you are breaking up, hold on." I turn around to face Griffin. "You and Mads are breaking up?" He looks up at me and widens his eyes. I see a white glisten near his ear. I pull down his hood to see AirPods. "What the hell?!" I whisper loudly. "Please tell me she isn't on the phone," I say, disappointed as I grab his phone to see the call time to be almost two hours. He grabs the phone and hangs up. "Listen." I shake my head, "Are you serious?! I was trying to have a nice conversation to sort out things and you bring her into this? I can't even trust you!" I say walking away ignoring his calling out to me. I get in the car and drive home, upset."
