Chapter eleven - Natsu

Hinata POV

The drive was agonizing.
As soon as the call ended, I ran to Kageyama, told him what happened, and we hailed a cab to take us to Natsu's daycare.
And here we were, sitting in the backseat, slowly counting the minutes untill we reached there.

What happened to Natsu? The teacher said that she's in trouble! Maybe they had to evacuate the building and Natsu isn't out yet! What if there was a fire? Maybe some maniac with a gun got into the school! Oh god Natsu's all alone! She's fast but she's still small! Hopefully se has the sense to hide! But what if he finds her?! Then what will she do! Nonono this isn't happening. He's going to find her! He's going to shoot her! Shitshitshit no! He's going to kill my sister!! He's going to-

"Oi, dumbass,snap out of it."
With a jolt, I brought myself back to my senses.
"Look, worrying isn't gonna do anything, honestly you're probably overthinking this." Kageyama said, bonking me lightly on the head.
"R-right sorry."
"And quit apologizing."
"Sorry."
"What did I just say?!"
"Ack my bad Kageyama! Sorry about that!"
"HINATA BOKE!"
I was holding back laughter that point. Honestly I was just apologizing the last few times to tick him off. Guess it worked.

Sighing, I turned my attention to the trees and buildings zipping by. I knew that being paranoid wouldn't do any good, but still, I couldn't stop fidgeting every few seconds and replaying the conversation and the dream in my head on repeat.
Finally, we got there.

"Thankyou for coming Mr. Hinata."
"What happened to-gah! Ack! I mean thankyou!" I said, clutching my side where Kageyama had jabbed me in the ribs.
Jeez that really hurt.

"Please follow me to our office where we can discuss what happened."
"All due respect ma'am, what was it that happened?"
"Right, It's a rather delicate situation. I didn't tell you over the phone because Natsu wished for her to be the one to tell you."
"Is she okay?! You said she's in trouble! What happened? She's okay right? Did she hurt herself?-"

"Nii-chan!"
A little ball of sunshine crashed right into my stomach, knocking the wind right out of me.
"Wa-!" I gasped as I fell to the floor.

There was Natsu, right on top of me, relitivly unharmed. There she was. There was Natsu...unharmed. A smile broke across my face and I held her against me.
She pulled away and sat up, looking gienuanly confused and concerned.
"um...are you okay Sho? You havent hugged me in forever. Did you hit you're head against the floor when you fell?"
I sat up as well before pushing her head away "Shut up you." And then I hugged her again. "I'm just glad you're okay." I sighed in her ear.
"I'm anything but okay!"
"Eh?"
"Tell Ms. Irina that Monoma was the one that started it! I was just defending Izu-chan!"
I looked up questioningly at the teacher who was gazing down at us, clearly amused.
"Lets talk inside shall we?"
I got to my feet, pulling Natsu up beside me. I looked back at Kageyama. "Be back in a bit!" He nodded in response.
We walked inside, and I took my seat nest to Natsu.
"So what happened?"
"Well you see, we would like to speak to your father...and we don't have his contact. We only have your mothers...Anyway! It would be best if you could call him."
"Sorry, but he's out of town...he won't be back until day after tomorrow."
"Oh, I see."
"What happened anyway? You said it was urgent?"
"Ah yes you see-"

"Niichan! They wont listen to me!"
"Alright Natsu. why don't you tell us what happened."

"Well Monoma was being a jerk to Izu-chan cuz of his green hair and freckles!! And I got really mad and told him to go away and to stop being so mean! And then he said that I was just a dumb little girl who couldn't do anything! And THEN he said that momma didn't raise me right and THEN I WAS REALLY ANGRY! And THEN he told me that I was a weakling for being a GIRL and I guess he forgot that I'M THE BEST AT EVERYTHING IN GYM! But THEN he said some stuff about mamma and Sho cuz let's be honest Nii-chan's kinda small, no point denying it BUT STILL! ONLY I GET TO INSULT SHOYO! And then I told him that if he kept saying mean stuff that I was gonna beat him up! And he said 'What's a girl gonna do? Push me of the play structure?' And so that's what I did! After I punched him in the face of course. LIKE A BOSS!" Natsu finished her explenation with a proud flourish, punching her fist in the air.
