Kageyama POV
The first thing I felt when I woke was the feeling of incredible devestation.
I wasn't quite sure what happened....all I knew was something was terribly wrong.Where am I?....why is it so dark....oh my eyes are closed jeez....
What's wrong....Somethings....wrong....did something happen? Well of course something happened....Question is, what is it?....
Hinata....something happened to Hinata....there's no other possible reason for my heart to feel so broken...
What happened....
Come on Tobio THINK!I remember him....bleeding. There was blood....And sirens....he was apologizing?....
Wait....
I....
I remember.....
No....
That's not it....
That didn't happen....
No....
I refuse to accept it....
It can't be....
Because...
If that happened...
I may as well be dead.I bolted upright as my eyes flew open.
I looked around, bewildered.I was in a hospital, that much was clear. The lights were blinding, but I didn't care.
I reached up and touched my head to feel bandages."Oh good you're awake, jeez I thought you'de never wake up...anyway mom and dad were worried so I'm gonna call and tell them-"
"Wheres Hinata."
"What?"
I stood up and walked over to her."Where. Is. Hinata."
"Oh you mean that short kid who came in with you? Why? He your boyfriend or something?"
"YES! Now Where the fuck is he?!"
"Dunno. Ask a nurse."As if on que, a nurse entered the room.
"Wonderful to see you awake Mr Kageyama! I-"
"Where the hell's Hinata?!" I practically yelled.
"Shoyo Hinata?"
"Yes! Who the heck else?!"
"Sir please calm down-"
"Where. Is. He." I said, my voice growing deadly calm. The nurse was significantly shorter then me, so I took a step closer, towering over her.
"Shoyo Hinata is in private room 315. But-"
I didn't waste a second. I headed for the door.
"Please wait sir! Mr. Hinata is under operation right now and-"
I ingnored her and marched out the door.
315, 315. My room is 302 so...over here.
I practically ran down the colorless hallway, until I reached his room.
As soon as I entered, the entire world seemed to....
....freeze.
There he was.
I could only see his face, the rest of his body was hidden with surgeons standing in the way.
His eyes were closed, his face was pale, and an oxygen mask was placed around his nose and mouth. And he was hooked up to several IV's.
The scene was horrifying.
All too familiar.
It was an operation room, so there was a layer of thick glass seperating me from his bed, where he lay, silent and still. Chairs were stationed on my side of the room, where Hinata's dad sat, staring at the terrible scene before him.The scene was so increadibly frightning.
It was...it was devestating.
As I stood there, still as stone, my mouth open and my eyes wide in a frozen gasp, I could feel my soul....slowly breaking.
The surgery...the surgery was going...terrible.The monitor was all over the place.
Shouts and cries for assistance.
It was...
It was chaos.
Blood....blood dripped from the sheets....
I couldn't....I couldn't stop staring.
My eyes were fixated on the hellish nightmare before me.He's...he's bleeding out....
He's going to die....
He must be in so much pain....and he's not even moving.Why?...Why did it have to be him....of all people.
I wish it were me...
I wish it were me whose life was slipping.
