Kageyama POV

The first thing I noticed when I woke up, was the sound of trees rustling in the wind. A warm breeze blew across my face, and I could feel my mind began to wake up. The window must have been open, because I could smell fresh air outside. I hadn't opened my eyes yet, but if I had to guess I'de have said the sun was already up. My face felt warm, in a good way, and the my eyelids were tainted red. The birds were chirping soundly, and everything felt calm and peaceful. I wanted to lay there forever. I didn't want to open my eyes. I didn't want to have to face the harshness the day would no doubt bring.

Untill I felt something - or rather someone - stir beside me. No, not beside me, but in my arms. I was holding someone is my arms. I opened my eyes, and was met with flaming red hair. The person I was snuggleing was small. Well, smaller then me at least. They had a small frame, and bright red hair. The person's face was...adorable. Undoubtedly adorable.
Said person yawned, and sat up.
Said person blinked sleepily before saying:

"Mmm G'mornin Kageyama...."
"Good morning." I replied on instinct.

I sighed. Oh it's just Hinata....

Wait. WHAT?!

I bolted upright.
I looked down and to my left.

There he was.

Hinata. He was sitting in bed, right beside me.
My eyes were wide as saucers.
I gently reached out and bonked him on the head.

"Oi what was that for Kageyama?!"

Well he's definetly real.....
But...but what's going on?! He's....he's awake?! But...how is he here?! I don't...I don't get it!

"Sorry...." I managed to say.

Hinata blinked at me curiously.
"You okay Kageyama? You seem kinda...shocked. What- Hey!"

I pulled him into a hug.
I buried my face into his small shoulder, and held him tight against my chest. My arms were wrapped around him, and I felt him gently sling his arms around my neck.
And in that moment, I felt all the pain,
all the stress,
all the heartache,
all the sorrow,
all the anger,
all the fear,
and all the agony,

Melt away.
I was crying. I was trembling. I was shaking like a leaf in a bizzard. My voice broke as a choked sob broke free from my throat. I could feel the soft fabric of Hinata's shirt getting stained with tears.
In that moment, I didn't care about how he got here. I didn't care with how he had woken up. All that mattered was that it happened.
He was so....warm. He was radiating life. His eyes were bright. They were like....honey. So beautiful.
He was alive....
He was alive.

"Hey what's wrong?" Hinata asked softly.
"I'm so...I'm so happy....You..you're alive! I don't get it....."

"Why are you crying? Did something happen?"

I froze.

Slowly, I pulled away from his embrace.

"What...what do you mean? You were in a coma! Don't you remember what happened? Wait, when did you wake up?! And how did you get here anyway? And you just came to my house? What-"

Hinata tilted his head, confused.

"Um....what happened Kageyama? When did that happen? Did you hit your head or something?"
"W-what?"
"Well, first off, this is my house...."
"What are you talk-"
I paused and looked around.

This wasn't...this wasn't Hinata's house. But it wasn't my house either.
It was Hinata's...old house. The one that had burned down.
I looked out the window. The tree outside was colored red. The breeze was warm, but still carried an air of winter.
It was autumn.
I looked at the calender near Hinata's door.
