The world took on the four Lysander's with open arms, each embracing opportunities!
For Ben, he continued to work at the ministry, climbing the ranks until he become the second hand to the ministry of magic, assisting and running most departments.
For Georgia, she worked another year at Hogwarts as the assistant nurse before branching out to work at St. Mungo's hospital, working on a new treatment to those who had recently been suffering under the hands of the dark arts
For Deanna - after witnessing her best friend turn to the hand of the dark lord, she made it her personal mission to help run the gather those to join the Order after school was done, working very close with Dumbledore so that when the day had come to leave school, she would find every death eater out there and make them pay for everything they had taken from her, her friends and the wizarding communities
As for Nora, she followed down a path that allowed her work with magical creatures; she would find the endangered or lost creature and spend time training and taming them in the face of danger before taking them somewhere safe and treated properly.
All the while, darkness grew over and everything that Nora loved was slowly fizzling away.
She had lost many people over time, a heart break that she didn't want to experience any more but with Sirius, James and Lily by her side she believed hope would protect them and that despite it all, they would make it through. It was the early hours of the morning and screams and pain shot through her, wanting nothing more than for it end. The lights were too bright, light spots blurring her vision as she frantically looked around for him, let alone to try and see anything.
Begging for the pain to stop again, she gripped the sides of the bed as sweat ran down her neck and drenching the large t-shirt.
"One more!!" A voice muffled, barely a clear sound as ringing started to pulse in her eardrums. Grabbing her sisters wrist, Nora let out another cry of pain before falling back to rest and pant. It was silent. A panic silence. With her vision and hearing starting to come around again, she begged for the silence to be filled, begging that the silence would die off any second now. She sat up, frantically looking until his face came back into view, his now trimmed beard and tired eyes standing beside her and pressed his lips to her forehead.
A cry.
The silence was gone.
Sitting up with a relieved smile, she held him to her chest, feeling the child's touch for the first time and closed her eyes, begging to rest again and sleep.
Unable to say a word, Nora looked up Sirius and knew, despite that times were increasingly getting worse, they were finally living their greatest adventure and nothing was going to take it away from them.
"Any thoughts yet?" Sirius muttered, lifting his son up and stared into his face, a gobsmacked expression on his own. Chuckling at her husband, Nora shook her head at his question of what to name their newborn.
She looked over at wall, observing the calendar and smiled. It was now October 31st, the night had flown by. A sudden crack of thunder outside echoed. With a strong drop in her stomach, something had changed, something felt off to her. She looked at her Sirius who also had an uncomfortable look and could feel the same presence...
It was very wrong feeling, something wasn't right
Trying to ignore the feeling, she laid back and thought of Lily and James, excited to announce them as God Parents and introduce their son to Harry for the first time....
