Sitting smugly in the room with their arms crossed and a blood boiling smirk on their face was the one and only evil hag: Grandma.

My eyes immediately formed into an instinctive glare as I looked at the woman that has caused not only me but everyone around me misery and pain "What did you do with my mom?" My voice shook with anger as she smirked at me evilly.

"Your mother? Oh dear, I haven't the slightest clue on what you're talking about" I clenched my fists; barely constraining myself.

"Don't lie to me! Tell me, is she dead? I saw her on a gurney so don't lie and say you don't know" Her smirk transitioned into a mocking smile as she tilted her head.

"She's dead" her tone was light and cheery; more then happy to tell me the grim news that felt like a bullet straight to my heart.

The air was immediately knocked out of my lungs, leaving me breathless with my heart pounding 'But they were helping her right?' I walked closer to her and roughly grabbed the collar of her shirt and threateningly brought her closer to me.

"What do you mean my mother's dead?! What happened?! What did you do?!" The urge to wrap my hands around her throat was strong and tempting but I held myself back.

For now at least.

She looked at me with total indifference "Maria, she did this to herself and beside, this works out better for me-us in the long run, she was in the way, do you understand the power that we-that you control?" I shook my head at her with tears brimming my rage filled eyes.

"I never wanted this! This THING is a monster!" She looked affronted at my words and her body trembled in unbridled rage.

"How dare you INSULT this-this power!" She looked ready to slap me which I would happily return "This isn't power! This thing is a monster and you know it!" I shouted at her in anger.

'What's wrong with her?'

She narrowed her eyes at me and shook her head "I knew you were weak, I thought that you took after me but I was wrong, you're just a disappointment like your father was" her words were full of venom and menace.

I gritted my teeth and stared at her with rage flowing within me "Don't you dare talk about my dad! You're just a power hungry, wicked, miserable old hag!" Surprisingly she actually looked offended at the insults and it gave me satisfaction knowing that I offended her in someway.

I was about to continue when suddenly, I felt like the wind was knocked out of me and my body became uncomfortably tense.

'What's happening? I can't move and I can't stop moving at the same time'

I didn't feel like myself, it was strange, it felt like I was dreaming and I just...existed. I could see the hag's eyes widen before she started smiling creepily at me which set off alarms in my head.

'Why is she smiling like she won the lottery and achieved world domination at the same time?'

Before I could question her, she started clapping and jumping around in what I could only assume to be joy and cackling like the old hag that she was while doing so.

Which honestly freaked me out a little.

"It's happening, it's happening, it's happening!" She kept repeating in pure joy and I wanted to both slap and run away from her at the same time but I still couldn't control my body.

'Am I in shock? Is that why I can't move?'

My mind was running a mile a minute trying to figure out exactly what was happening to me.
