I blinked in shock at his words, I wanted to say something but I didn't know what I could say and I was scared that my voice would sound demonic again.

'I don't feel any different then before'

I took a deep breath and kept my eyes on Tanner who was still looking at me with wide eyes "Are" I tested the waters and continued when I sounded fairly normal.

"Are they still glowing?" his body was tense as he answered "They-they keep flickering" I deflated a bit at that and slowly tilted my head to look up at the hag who had faltered in her celebration and felt a deep rage boil over and take over me, especially when Evie showed me a memory that wasn't my own in my head.

I stumbled to stand up and gritted my teeth as my back screamed at me to lay back down but I was determined to face the old hag.

"My dad's car accident wasn't an accident was it?" I gritted out despite knowing the answer 'I just need a confirmation' she was quiet but when she smirked, that was all the confirmation that I needed.

"Of course it wasn't, it was an easy plan to set in motion, he would've figured out how to get rid of my Evie so I had to do something, he gave me no choice in the matter, and Ethan was more then happy to play guilty drunk" I could only feel anger and pure disgust at her lack of guilt at killing her own son just for a chance at controlling Evie.

'I remember now, the creep was at Dad's funeral'

"You're sick!" I said venomously; feeling downright sick to my stomach "You killed your own son for-for power?!" She didn't even look guilty as I yelled at her "And you still don't even have full control over Evie!" She scoffed and glared at me; ignoring the last part.

"My own son? Your mother didn't tell you?" She asked arrogantly with a brow raised "I'm not your father's real Mother, your grandfather couldn't keep it in his pants and got another woman pregnant, he tried to hide it from me but I figured it out" she paused with a faraway look in her eyes.

"He thought that I was stupid when all I had to do was look at the purchases he made with our credit cards" for once during our fight sadness flashed in her eyes before it disappeared a second later without a trace.

'Huh, so the hag does have feelings'

"He bought baby supplies; diapers, milk, toys, while I couldn't even conceive children he went out and got that slut pregnant" she looked away briefly before looking back at me with a sneer "I threatened to leave him if he kept seeing her, he agreed to stop but he still wanted the child" I watched as her eyes started to tear up a bit during her explanation.

"I tried to convince him to just forget about the child but he wouldn't have it, so we unfortunately had to meet in the middle" the more she explained things the more sorrowful her tone and expression would get.

But I didn't feel an ounce of pity for her, not after what she's done.

"His little mistress agreed...with the right amount of money of course" she sneered with her eyes narrowed in disgust "He agreed and I raised that boy like he was my own" I didn't know what to feel or think about I was being told.

'So she's not my blood related Grandmother? How come Mom never told me?'

"Why did you stay with him?" I asked with furrowed eyebrows "What was your ulterior motive?" I was still confused about everything but I knew her. Her pride wouldn't let her be discarded like that if there wasn't something in it for her.

She let out a loud sigh "I mainly stayed with your grandfather out of fear of being targeted by Evie for 'hurting' him even though I was the one that was hurt" I tilted my head and stared at her with suspicion.
