Derek wakes up with a startled gasp to see his sister smiling down at him.

“I cannot believe that it worked.” Cora cries, leaning down to hug him. Derek is just blinking, trying to make sense of what just happened. Where is he, Derek thinks. Derek puts his hands loosely around his sister that is still hugging him tightly.

“Cora? Where am I?” Derek rubbing his face with the back of his hand, and Cora beams at him while she helps him up off of the hardwood floor ground.

“You're back! I sent you back in the past, Derek! I have no idea how, but I fixed it.” Cora says, brushing his hair out of her face. She looks older, Derek thinks. More like a woman, less like the girl she was when he last saw her.

He sits up, shaking his head trying to make the haziness disappear, until he turns when he hears the television on low volume coming from the other room. Derek looks around to see that he is in the loft that he shared when his sister years ago, and he whips his head around to look at his sister. “What did you do?” Derek grits out, and Cora frowns slightly.

“I brought you back to the right time.” Cora says, and Derek feels his heart race.

“No, you have to send me back.” Derek tells her, and she looks at him in shock. Derek stands to look around, and Cora looks like she doesn't believe what she is hearing. Derek is panicking as he pacing the familiar looking loft. Cora must have left everything the same when he left five years ago, he wonders if it's been five years here too, and Derek turns to look at her gaping at him.

“What?” She says, her tone almost angry. “No.” She adds, and Derek stares at her.

“What the hell do you mean no?” Derek growls, and she stands her ground while she crosses her arms across her chest.

“I meant no, Derek. You were in the sixteenth century for five years, and I was here all by myself. Running myself ragged trying to fix my fucking mistake. You know how terrified I was when I came back by myself? You don't get to go back to that place by yourself to get away from how things are now.” Cora yells, and Derek shallows thickly. “I'm glad that you found a pack to help you, you stink of them, but you have me.” Cora whispers, and Derek takes a step closer to her.

“What about my husband?” Derek says, and Cora looks at him in surprise. “My pregnant husband or my son. My son, Cora! You took me from my son!” Derek screams, and Cora cowers away from him. Derek instantly feels guilty about yelling, but he doesn't want to take it back not when everything he said was true.

“I didn't know.” Cora says, and Derek laughs mockingly as he runs his hand through his unruly hair. Stiles had teased him this morning about cutting it in his sleep, and Derek's heart pangs when he thinks of his husband. “I didn't' know you were happy there.” Cora says, again. Derek glares at her, but he cannot make himself stay angry at her.

“Cora, I missed you. I did but I need you to get me back.” Derek pleads, and his sister wipes her eyes as she gives him an apologetic look.

“I can't. Not until the next full moon, and not until I can get the supplies again.” Cora says, and Derek fill his face fall. He sinks to the ground to lay his head on his knees while Cora moves to sit next to him. “I am so sorry, Derek. I will fix this.” She promises, and Derek nods his head while trying to give her reassuring smile. It wasn't her fault, it was but Derek isn't going to play the blame game, that she missed him. He missed her too, he thought about her everyday. He thought about his family everyday even when he was here, but he had a new family. Stiles needed him, Derek needs him, so he had to go back to him. “What's his name?” Cora asks, after a long silence.
