yeah, johnny has
his afternoon free.
and apparently,
my afternoon classes
are nonexistent too.
so he decided we should
go on a date or something

what happened to the project?

ten:
i was able to finish, thankfully. but it seems like johnny was able to pull some strings because mr. oh extended the due date. i told him he shouldn't, but he still did it anyway

jae:
so i guess,
i'll go home alone later then

ten:
don't you have a thing with yuta though?

jae:
nah, we just meet when we feel like it

ten:
you mean, YOU feel like it. yuta would kill to have an opportunity to spend some time with you

jae:
maybe, but we have an agreement. i don't want to give hope when i don't the intention to pursue something with him

ten:
hmm, interesting.

jae:
how so?

ten:
it's just is. anyways,
i'll head out first. ms. bae is here now.

"Why do you look like Atlas?" Doyoung asked Jaehyun who is sitting right in front of him.

"Atlas who?" Jaehyun replied nonchalantly as he played (once again) with the food in front of him.

"Dude, Atlas was the guy who had the world on his back? Greek Mythology?" Doyoung raised his brows only to be responded with Jaehyun's empty eye sockets (not literally though).

"Are you sulking again because Ten is not here?" Apparently, Doyoung was informed by Ten that the latter will has a date with his boyfriend, and Jungwoo has something on his plate too, hence why it's just the older and Jaehyun in the cafeteria.

"It's stupid." Jaehyun scratched his ears like it'll suddenly do the trick and magically remove the redness creeping on it.

"What's stupid?"

"That I thought he'd... I don't know... realized I could be the right one for him... We had a fun date. It's stupid really, I'm just having this sudden surge of hope again, and then today, well, like you said, I may feel like I'm Atlas."

"Jae."

Jaehyun hummed as a reply and look at his friend's face who's expression somehow looks more vague and serious.

"It's not stupid. To have hope and wish to become THAT person for the one you love. You know what's stupid? Not telling them you can be that person, even when you've always had the chance within your reach."

"Doie."

"Ten chose Johnny because Johnny showed him the interest he needed then. And he needed to move on."
