"Yunhee."

"Yunhee!"

"YUNHEE!"

I opened my eyes. "WHAT?!" I screamed as I looked around confused about my own existence.

"Yunhee! We need to go NOW!"

I clumsily climbed down from my bed while mom was going in all directions.

I only got time to put on my slippers and a cardigan before I was dragged outside of the house by mom.

Dad was already sleeping in the car. 

I frowned confused. "What's going on?!" I asked freaking out while I was turning on the engine.

"Your grandmother was taken to the hospital a couple of minutes ago," mom said sobbing. "Let's go. It is the one we always go to in Portland."

At the time I was pulling out of the parking lot, I saw my aunt driving by. I started to drive behind her.

I looked at the time on the radio. It was only 3 a.m.

I was shaking because of the cold temperature. Cherry's heater was taking a while to react as the engine was too cold.

"Your uncle from Washington is already coming," mom said with a sad tone.

My mind wasn't really there the entire ride to the hospital that was an hour and a half but felt like a couple of minutes.

Once we had arrived, mom jumped out of the car. I turn to the side to wake up dad.

"Mmm?"

"Dad, we are here..." He looked around a couple of seconds before both of us got out of the car.

We walked behind mom that was meters away from us already.

I saw my uncle get out of the car but not my aunt. Maybe she was in the ambulance with my grandma...

By the time dad and I got into the hospital, mom had already asked for information so we were following her.

We walked a lot until we got to a huge waiting room filled with sofas. This is the ICU. Just like I suspected, my poisonous aunt is already here.

Today is February 15th...

I wish I could go back a day to live again one of the best days of my life...

"What happened?!" Mom asked freaking out to my aunt.

I sat next to dad on a sofa. I rested my head on his shoulder as I wanted to fall asleep but I knew it wasn't going to be possible.

"I don't know Yunhee," my aunt said to my mom...

Yep... mom and I have the exact same name. That's why people call me 'Yun' instead of 'Yunhee.'

"She had a lot of pain out of nowhere and it was only getting worse." Their words stopped sinking into my brain. Everything became numb for me. I even stopped feeling dad's arms wrapped around me.

I had so many questions in my head but the one that overpowered them all was...

Is her cancer back?

Cancer runs in my family. Both of my maternal grandparents have had it. I lost my grandpa because of it when I was only about four years old. My grandma had cancer a couple of years before I was born; she survived.

"Hello," I voice said lowly.

I looked up. Another uncle of mine was here. I know this room will be crowded in about five more hours. My grandma had ten kids after all.

The time was going by fast as the uncertainty about grandma's condition filled all of us here.

"Hello?" A nurse said as she looked at all of us.

Suddenly, I was awake.

"How is she?" One of my uncles asked concerned.

"Her condition is serious. We need one of you to sign permission to put a device to help her heart that is very weak right now. That device will also help us get medicines directly to her heart."

All my uncles, aunt, and mom ran towards the nurse to sign.

I looked outside the window. My eyes widened as I notice that it was already daytime.

I don't have my phone with me.

After the permission was signed, everyone went back to their seat.

"Yun..." mom softly called.

"Hmm?"

"Why don't you go back home to pick up some things?  You aren't going to school today either."

"Sure... what do you need me to get?"

After she gave me a little list of things to take here, I walked out of the hospital.

"Babe!"

I turned around confused. Two strong arms wrapped around me. His scent filled my nose instantly.

"Koo... why aren't you at school?"

He chuckled. "I have the same question for you."

I jumped into his arms. "My grandma is in the hospital," I said barely louder than a whisper. His entire body tensed. "I came back for a couple of things..."

"Let me go with you," he said worriedly.

My eyes widened. My parents have never seen him... they vaguely know that I have a boyfriend.

But I love him...

"Oki... but what about school? your mother will receive a call."

"I'll call her explaining. She will understand."

I nod before I go inside the house. I quickly change my clothes before I leave with my phone, phone chargers, and my dad's wallet that he forgot.

By the time I put everything in the car, Jungkook has already called his mom; by the look on his face, everything went alright.

Before I could go in the car, Jungkook stops me. He puts his hands behind my ears as he looks at me.

"Give me the keys. I'll drive," he says over my lips.

I don't complain. By being in this position I can already feel my lids closing.

I give him the keys. He pecks my lips before we go inside the car.

As soon as the engine turns on, I fall into a deep slumber.
