"What? If someone steals from us, they won't get this money out of me." I shake my head smiling.
I look at the time on my phone. "Let's go. The landlord must be waiting now."
A bit more awake now, I drive towards the hood... my home and Danielle's home as well from now on.
The landlord didn't care one bit about who was going to rent the apartment. As long as they pay.
I ring the bell of the landlord's house. The door opens after a few seconds.
It is the start of the month so mom gave me the money of the rent to pay now that I'm here.
