I smiled like a fool as I saw Yun moving around in excitement.
As soon as I had parked, Yun was already out of the car. I chuckled as I turned the engine off.
I decided to bring Yun to Oregon City to celebrate our six-month anniversary.
I knew this was her favorite city ever, and I could understand why.
Oregon City is a place full of history. This was the city every pioneer from the west following the Oregon Trail would come to claim territory on this side.
I stood in front of Yun. I held her hands as I looked at her. She threw herself into my arms making me blush.
"I have come many times with my parents but... coming with you feels special," she muttered loud enough for me to hear.
My face became even redder... a thing I didn't know was possible until today.
"Let's go to the elevator," I suggested.
We started to walk together; as always, she wrapped her arms around my arm as we walked.
The elevator will take us to McLoughlin Promenade, where we can see the Willamette River.
Before Americans came to this side, Native Americans would fish at the falls of the Willamette River a couple of meters away from where we are but now, the abandoned Blue Heron Paper Mill is at the river.
