Alexis's POV

Right now, at school, we are all having our break. I was walking with Adrien in the main area and I saw Nino hiding behind something while peering from behind it. He was looking at something, or someone.

I follow his gaze and see him looking at Marinette, who is sitting next to Alya while looking at a magazine of Adrien.

Oh, he's in love with her.

"Hey, Adrien. Look," I said as I gestured to Nino.

Adrien looks in his direction and looks back at me. We both then smirk, knowing what's going on.

We then walk behind Nino without him noticing us.

"FYI, Marinette's never gonna fall in love with a statue," Adrien said out loud, which startled Nino. Nino then grabs me and Adrien's arm and pulls us behind his hiding spot.

"Shh. You know I'm no good with the ladies, except for Alexis. Especially this one all of a sudden. I mean, dude, dudette. Do I go up to her and crack a joke? Shoot her a compliment? Invite her to the zoo? Play it serious?" Nino started asking.

"Nino, you're way over-thinking this. Invite her to the zoo? You serious?" Adrien told him.

"Well, they have this really cool new exhibit there," Nino stated.

"Listen, Nino. In my opinion, you should just be yourself," I told him.

"Easy for you to say. You're a girl," Nino then told me. "I'm not even that cool."

"You're cool too, dude. Trust me. Or you wouldn't be our best bud," Adrien told him.

"Yeah. Just invite her to the zoo. She'll say yes," I reassured to Nino.

Nino then gets confident and walks out from behind his hiding spot and towards Marinette and Alya. But he then stops half-way and runs back to us.

He's nervous.

"What if I act like a moron? Or she kisses me or thinks I'm lame?" Nino started asking dumb questions.

"It's okay, we've got your back," Adrien told Nino.

We then fist bump, confident with our plan.

Timeskip

Right now, we are outside of the school and are waiting by the side of the stairs. Once I saw Marinette with Alya, I gestured to the boys to go. We then walk out of our hiding spot and walk towards the girls.

As Marinette was looking at her magazine, she didn't notice Nino in front of her. She then bumps into him, which causes her to drop the magazine.

She then looks up at Nino, who is frozen at the spot with a nervous look.

"Oh, so sorry... right, Nino?" Adrien said as he and I were standing behind Nino.

"S-sorry," Nino said, still looking nervous as ever.

I then see Marinette look down at the magazine nervously and was going to pick it up, but Adrien was going to pick it up as well. This then resulted in them hitting their heads.

"Sorry," They both said.

I actually ship them instead.

"Sorry about that," Adrien said, but then looks back at Nino. "How could we make it up to you? Any ideas, Nino?"

Nino was silent. He was too nervous to talk.

"How about we all go to the zoo? I heard they got a new..." I started saying, and then nudged Nino with my elbow.
