Alexis's POV

Right now, we're on a field trip at the Grand Paris Luxury Hotel. Today we're going to be having a work experience with a job at the hotel, and we'll be graded on our effort.

That sounds cool. I'm going to be working as an employee who takes the bags to the hotel rooms. And my partner is Nathaniel.

Right now, we're just standing around near the check-in area, waiting for our job to come in handy.

As I'm standing in one spot beside Nathaniel, I'm looking at the check-in desk and see Chloe all over Adrien. I could tell he looked uncomfortable, and so was I.

"Daddy!" I heard Chloe say.

I look over and see her give the mayor a piece of paper.

"Thank you, sweetie," Mayor Bourgeois looks at the paper. "Oh yes, Alya, you're going to be... sorting trash at the main dumpster," The mayor told her.

Alya and Marinette looked shocked after he said that. And so was I. I growled a little in frustration, but I stopped when I felt Nathaniel grab onto my arm, somewhat comforting me. He gives me a reassuring smile, and I smile back.

"And Marinette, who will be..." Mayor Bourgeois didn't get a chance to finish when someone entered the hotel.

I look to the entrance of the hotel and see Jagged Stone with his pet crocodile, along with his assistant and Kim pushing in all of his bags.

Dang!

But before anyone could say anything, Mayor Bourgeois walks over to Jagged Stone.

"Excuse me, this is a luxury hotel, not a zoo," The mayor told him as the crocodile growled.

"Daddy!" Chloe calls to the mayor. She then whispers into Mayor Bourgeois' ear. I don't know what she said, but after that, the mayor brightened up.

"Mr. Stone, welcome to the Grand Paris Hotel. I am Mayor Bourgeois, owner of this luxurious establishment, the most luxurious in all of Paris. How might we serve you?" Mayor Bourgeois welcomed Jagged Stone.

"How'd you think? I didn't just come here to admire your lobby," Jagged Stone stated.

"Jagged would like to check in to your most luxurious suite," Jagged's assistant then stated.

"And Fang better get a real bathtub, not a tiny water hole like in that one hotel across the street," Jagged then said.

"We have everything you need, Mrs. Fang, even a state-of-the-art fitness centre," The mayor stated.

"Fang is my crocodile," Jagged stated as he pointed to his crocodile.

Nathaniel and I lightly laughed at that sudden mistake.

"Mr. Stone, we have everything you require for your... F-Fang. Would he... enjoy a bubble bath?" Mayor Bourgeois asked.

"Crocodiles don't like bubble baths, it dries their scales out," Jagged answered.

In the corner of my eye, I noticed the automatic doors open. I then see a photographer sneaking his way behind a desk with his camera. Fang then notices the photographer and follows him. As the photographer was taking photos of Jagged Stone, the crocodile stood beside him.

This startled the photographer and caused him to jump out of his hiding spot with a shriek.

"Oh, no, not him again," I heard Jagged Stone mumble in annoyance.

"Remember me, Mr. Stone? Vincent Asa. Just one photo to show everyone in the world that we're best buds. Come on, please, I'm your biggest fan," The photographer, known as Vincent, said.
