A/n: Hey, guys. Sorry I didn't update for a while. I just moved into a knew house and I helped my family move in. Once again, sorry. I hope you're enjoying the story so far.

Alexis's POV

Right now, Adrien and I are at Marinette's place. I know you're probably wondering why we're here, well it's because Adrien got a call from Alya saying that Marinette needs help with speaking Chinese.

Adrien can speak Chinese. At least that's what he told me.

We ring the door bell and Marinette soon answers the door.

"Hey, Marinette," We greeted her.

"Alexis? Adrien?" Marinette asked, sounding kind of freaked out when she said Adrien's name. "What... What are you?"

"Alya called me. She said you needed someone who speaks Chinese. Well, here I am, translator at your service," Adrien said as he did a bow.

"No? I mean yes! Uh, where's Alya?" Marinette than asked, but then heard her phone bing. She looks at it, but I don't know what she was reading or looking at.

She then looks back at us and laughs nervously. I don't know why.

Timeskip

We made it to the Le Grand Paris hotel for a show that's going on. So Marinette's uncle, Cheng Sifu, is going to be in the show and compete to be named as the "World's Greatest Chef."

On the ride to the hotel, Adrien and Cheng Sifu were talking to each other in Chinese, but it then turns out that he can also speak English, but not that good.

Cheng Sifu explained that he would be making his famous Celestial Soup for the contest. After he went into the kitchen, Marinette walked up to Adrien and thanked him as I stood to the side and watched them.

I then felt something shift in my pocket. I look in and see Blitz peeking her head out and looking in one direction. I look in the same direction she was looking at and saw Chloe.

Of course she's going to be here.

"Well, look who it is. My favorite person, Marinette Dupain-Cheng. I mean, seriously, does your great uncle really expect to win the contest with a soup? It's not even a main dish. Please. Doesn't he know how to make sushi like everyone else?" Chloe asked. I was really starting to get annoyed by her talking.

"Japanese people make sushi, Chloe. Cheng Sifu is Chinese," Adrien stated.

"Besides, he's not 'like everyone else.' My great uncle is the best chef in the world. His soup i legendary," Marinette explained.

Yeah, you tell her.

"Well, I despise soup," Chloe then stated.

I despise you.

"So what?" I asked, joining in on the conversation.

"Didn't you know? I'm on the jury. Your uncle will not be getting my vote for sure," Chloe then said.

"Oh, yeah. Well, he doesn't need your vote to win. There are other judges with much better taste than yours. Oh, sorry. Let me rephrase that. You have no taste!" I then told her as I crossed my arms.

"Don't talk about me like that!" Chloe then yelled as she walked away from us.

"Thanks, Alexis," Marinette thanked me.

"No problem, Marinette," I said, and then walked towards where they will be filming the show. It was going to start soon. Right after Cheng Sifu is done making the soup.
