The Collector

Alexis's POV

I was in my room, well the secret room behind the bookshelf, and I was looking at the mysterious letter my sister left me. I can't believe she's actually out there and knows that I'm looking for her. But she didn't write her name on the letter. That's what sucked.

Adrien, on the other hand, was in his room and was being scolded for taking some sort of book that had to do with superheroes. It was the book that Adrien had when he was talking with Lila in the Library.

After some time, I heard a knock coming from the bookshelf door. It went in a specific rhythm I told Adrien to knock so that I know it's him, so I open the secret door and see him standing there.

"How did it go?" I asked as I gestured for him to come in and sit down on a chair. He looked a bit sad.

"My father is not allowing me to go back to school. He doesn't trust me anymore. He hardly even trusted you and thinks you had something to do with it, too. So he's homeschooling both of us," Adrien told me.

I gasp after hearing him say that. That means that I won't be able to see Nathaniel. And I won't have the chance to go out and look for my sister.

I then let out a sigh as I place my hand on top of his.

"At least we're in this together," I told him. He then smiles, but I could still see the sadness in his eyes.

I just hope we can find a way to fix this.

Timeskip

I'm sitting on my desk as I am now homeschooled. I know this sucks, but I have to stay strong.

I let out a groan as I lean back against my chair as Blitz is sitting on my desk.

"This is the worst feeling ever. I'll never get the chance to go out and find my sister," I said.

"You shouldn't give up on hope. You know you can always go out as Light Wing and look for her," Blitz stated.

I then look at her in realization.

"You're right. When I have the time after I'm done with school, I can go out in my superhero form and start my searching," I said to myself.

Suddenly, my thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a crashing noise. I got confused and went over to my door.

I open it and see Adrien's bodyguard leading him back into his room. I don't understand why. But Adrien then looked at me and gestured for me to go into his room once his bodyguard leaves.

I then nod and close the door as I wait for the bodyguard to leave.

After a few seconds, I concluded that he left and Blitz flies into my pocket as I open my door and sneak my way into Adrien's room.

Once I close the door behind me to his room, I look at him curiously.

"What's up, Adrien?" I asked.

"My father's angry because of me. He won't forgive me until I find that book. And I need your help, Alexis," Adrien told me.

Plagg then flies in front of Adrien.

"May I remind you that you and Alexis are actually grounded?" Plagg said.

"Adrien and Alexis are, but Cat Noir and Light Wing aren't. Plagg, claws out!" Adrien said.

"Blitz, wings up!"

After we transform, we were about to go out the window, until we heard a beeping noise coming from Cat's pole and my boomerang.
