"Go on without me. I'll catch up." I assure. Naruto and Sakura were about to let me be until Sasuke speaks up.

"Lily-." Sasuke is about to object.

"No." I snap, "You don't get a say in this. You think I forgot what you did back there with those stupid little cards?"

Neither Naruto or Sakura say a word to step in. They've seen me get angry before, but not like this. This time it's different.

"It's not that big of a deal." Sasuke scoffs.

"To who? To you?" I growl, "You can't just throw me under the bus and expect me not to be mad."

"What? So your angry now?" He rolls his eyes. His refusal to take me seriously only aggravates me further. "I trust you, but you can't trust me? Maybe if you'd act like more than just a weapon in our team...Or is that all we are to you? Apart of your job?"

"Oh, piss off. So you expose my business in front of all our friends?" I say rhetorically, "You ever thought maybe I don't want you to know? Because I don't want to go there again... You're such an asshole. And you know what? I'm more than just angry. I'm pissed off. So just respect my wishes for once and go."

"You don't wanna go back? Is that why you're so psyched to see them? Hn, whatever." He bumps my shoulder roughly as he walks pass my team. They say nothing to him and turn back to me. They figure I want some space and follow Sasuke.

I step out of the room and wait for everyone else to leave the room. I take this time to take my mind off the heated conversation I had with Sasuke. So, I anxiously wait as the three Yoshida come out of the door. At first they don't notice me and walk past but I call out to them, taking a few steps forward.

"H-Hey!" I yell, they still don't realize I'm calling. "Basil!" That got their attention. They turn to look at me. Basil's team consist of another boy and one girl. His teammates looks on at me in disgust.

My brother's eyes widen. They watch me for an uncomfortable amount of time. It's like he's trying to remember me all over again. Soon, his eyes turn in a sadistic glare I didn't even know was possible to come from him.

"Basil, it's me. Li-."

"I know who you are." He says in his monotonous voice, "You're the one who was exciled from this clan. You brutally murdered twenty-five men in cold blood. Why are you approaching me?"

My face falters, "I... I'm your sister."

"Tch," He scoffs, "You are nothing to me. "Don't go around claiming to be related to me. Not after everything you caused."

"No. I didn't mean to. I... I'm sorry. I swear.. If you just let me explain-"

He takes a few steps forward as he continues, "There's no coming back from anything that happened. Heh, our pathetic Uncle lost an eye because of you. Our mother lost her life because of you."

"Don't talk about Reed like that. Why are you like this?" I ask.

"So I won't end up like you, Lily." He says. "You were a ticking-time bomb. You exploded. That's what monsters do. Take and take until finally they lose it."

I'm speechless. My breath hitches in my throat and suddenly I realize I lost more than I knew I did. He walks back to his team who are smirking mockingly at me.

He looks over his shoulder, "I hate you. If you're bold enough to face me again, I'll kill you."

He walks off with his team. I feel my eyes begin to sting, but I refuse to cry. I'm not allow to cry. It's selfish for me to be in pain. I ruined him. I took away what he loved and I left him alone to him deal with it. I left him alone. Here I am making friends, while my brother had to suffer and carry the burden all on his own.
