Age 13
I walk in late to see a class filled with talkative kids and no sight of Iruka-sensei. Come to think of it Naruto isn't anywhere in sight either. I wonder what kind of trouble he's stirring up...
Walking to Sasuke, I take Naruto's usual seat. "Yo, where's Blondie and Iruka-sensei?"
"Hell if I know." He shrugs. "They're both late."
I let out a sigh of relief, "Great, now I won't get chewed out for being late."
"Idiot." He mumbles.
"Look where you're sitting, Lily." Shikamaru chuckles from behind me. I realize that I'm sitting in the forbidden zone. The place where no ninja should ever cross. The place that makes hell look like a joke: fangirl territory.
Both Ino and Sakura glare at me. Lovely. "I'll sit on his lap if that makes you feel better."
"You wouldn't!" Ino yells at me.
I look at Sasuke who is narrowing his eyes at me. Looking him up and down, I advert my eyes back to Ino. "Ew, you're right, I wouldn't."
"How can you be so friendly and insulting at the same time?" Sasuke asks.
"You make it fairly easy." I shrug, leaving him to wonder if it's a compliment or insult.
Soon, the door slams open and a tied up Naruto is thrown onto the floor. Iruka also appears, ranting.
"I'm at the end of my rope, Naruto!" Iruka yells.
I chuckle, making him pause. "Hehe, rope. Get it, 'cause he's tied up?" Iruka sweat drops and Shikamaru smacks the back of my head. I glare at him as our teacher continues his lecture.
"Tomorrow is the graduation test. Everytime we've done it in class you've failed! How can you expect to be a ninja?!" The blonde turns his head away like a petulant child and this only fans the already high flames. "Fine! Because of Naruto here everyone here is going to review the transformation jutsu!"
Everyone groans in annoyance.
"Hey, Lily, your friend is an idiot." Kiba snides, Akamaru perched on his head. Somethings never change...
"Yeah, yeah, Kiba. You're not the only idiot I hang with, big surprise." I roll my eyes making my way down to the front with everyone else.
I stand next to Naruto, shoving him slightly. "What did you do this time?"
"Spray painted mt.Hokage..." He answers, smirking mischievously.
"Shit." I laugh, "You defaced his idols? No wonder he's so pissed."
"Lily, stop swearing in my class!" Iruka snaps at me. I blame Reed, it's his fault I started swearing in the first place.
"It's not anything you haven't heard before." I argue, aggravating him further.
"Yeah, because you've said it twenty times this week." He growl, "You know what? You can be first!"
My friends snicker behind their hands and once again I roll my eyes. How is this even a punishment? It's not like I don't know the jutsu. As I make my way towards the front I hear Shikamaru and Ino complain to Naruto for having to pay the consequences for his actions.
I make the hand sign and easily transform into a copy of Iruka. He sighs at me, "Well done. Watch your mouth." I was going to argue that it's technically impossible but he'd probably start yelling at me.
I sit on a desk, watching everyone else go by. Sakura who cheers and Sasuke who gives us his signature 'hn.' His vocabulary consist of and is limited to, idiot, hn, move, loser, shut up, and glaring intensly.
