"Isn't that right, Three tails?"Three tails? What exactly was Zabuza getting at? I'm not surprised he knew I was a Yoshida considering I revealed my Kekkei Genkai to him. But, he called me Three Tails as if it meant something. What the hell is that even supposed to mean?
I sit on the dock surrounding Tazuna's home, my legs dangling over the edge. It's where we were introduced to his daughter, Tsunami, and his grandson, Inari.
"Lily." I turn around to see Sasuke walking up to me. "What are you even doing here?"
"Sitting." I answer plainly, playing with the black fabric around my wrist.
"Vague as ever." He mutters, rolling his eyes at me. He has a point there. I don't necessarily give anyone specefic information about myself, hence my introduction to Kakashi. "C'mon, Kakashi's awake."
I stand up, smiling at the news. "Finally, I was getting bored of waiting..."
We start to walk back but soon he stops. "When you were fighting with Zabuza, he called you something. I barely caught it but, he called you something..."
I stare at him for a second. Did he hear what the rogue whispered to me? I doubt it. If he did, I don't have much of an explanation for him. "Exile. He called you the 'Exiled child'."
"Why are you so worry about it?" I ask.
"I'm not, but we're a team and we have no real knowledge about you. Nothing about your family or your life before coming to the Leaf." He says, looking at me from over his shoulder. "Do you actually trust us?"
I always held back on telling others of the past, of my clan, even some emotions. Is it because I don't trust people? No. That isn't the case.
"I do trust you guys." I assure him, "There's nothing special about my childhood before the Leaf. So, just drop it and trust me when I tell you that."
I walk past him and I can feel his typical intense glare on my back. I do trust others, right? Why wouldn't I? They're my friends. They just don't need to know who I was.
We walk inside the house and to the room where Kakashi is recovering. Naruto and Sakura are already there along with Tsunami and Tazuna.
"Sasuke, Lily." He greets us tiredly.
"Wow, you look horrible." I say honestly.
"Thanks, it's good to see you too, Lily." He sighs, being accustomed to my commentary.
I lean against the frame of the door as Sasuke sits down on the floor with our two teammates. Sakura sits next to our recovering teacher, "Listen, Sensei your Sharigan is amazing and all, but if it puts that much strain on you, maybe it's not worth it."
She has a point, but the Sharingan gives him a significant advantage. It's the reason he was able to defeat Zabuza with in all that mist.
"Well, you did take down one of the most powerful ninja assassins, so we'll be safe for the time being." Tazuna says, fanning himself.
"But what about that boy with the mask?" Sakura asks.
"He's from the elite tracking unit of the Village Hidden in the Mist. Those masks are only worn by elite shinobi." Kakashi explains. "Their job is to take down a shinobi and clear the secrets the corspe may hold by destroying any trace of it."
