As a ninja you're to battle dangerous enemies. Go through treacherous environments. Be sent on life-threatening missions. Which is why we are deep in the forest, hidden within the trees as we capture one of the animal kingdoms most feared creatures.

A cat. Not just any cat, though. A cat with a bow. I sigh, crouching down on a tree branch. We're even wearing headsets for this pathetic excuse for a mission.

"Sasuke, I'm at point B." The Uchihas voice rings through my ear. This is so extra...

"Sakura, I'm at point C."

... I wait for Naruto to speak. Seconds later, "Naruto, I'm at point A, believe it."

"You're too slow, Naruto." Kakashi drawls, "Lily?"

"Yeah, I'm at point D." I mutter. Are we really out here burning day light over a missing cat?

"The target has moved. Follow it." Kakashi orders as we all move deeper into the forrest. Once our 'target' comes to a hault we hide behind trees.

"What's your distance from the target?" Kakashi asks.

"Five meters." Naruto replies. "I'm ready just give the signal."

"Now!" Kakashi signals.

Naruto lunges at the cat, holding onto it tightly. The cat isn't at all keen with this situation and starts scratching at the blonde. He screams on the ground as the cat basically beats him up.

"Can you confirm it's identity?" Kakashi asks. I face palm majorly. "I heard that Lily." Geez, what is he? A mother?

"Affirmative." Sasuke confirms.

"Right. Lost pet Torah: Captured. Mission accomplished." Kakashi announces.

"Can't we get a better missions than this?! I hate cats!" Naruto screams into his headset.

I rip the ear piece out of my ear and curse in pain, "Son of a b*tch!"

"I heard that Lily." Kakashi says, somehow still audible to me from the earpiece in my hand.

"Really? Because I'm certain I've gone deaf." I can't help but mouth.

He sighs as the rest of my team sweatdrops at me, rubbing at their sore ears.

*********

"Oh my poor little Torah. Mommy misses you." The owner of the cat rubs her face harshly against the cat's. I frown at the sight in pity.

"No wonder he ran away." Sakura comments and I nod in agreement.

We stand in a room with the Hokage and other ninja, including Iruka. I guess their jobs are to process the missions and payments.

"Now then," The Third Hokage speaks, raising a piece of paper up. "For Squad Seven's next mission. We have babysitting, helping the fuedal lord's wife do grocery shopping, digging up potatoes, and-."

"No!" Naruto interrupts childishly.

I cross my arms, sighing to myself, "Do it for the coin, Lily."

"Well that's some decent motivation..." Kakashi judges.

"Hey, I got bills to pay, man." I explain. He shakes his head at me, the trace of a smirk showing slightly underneath his mask.

"I want a real mission! Not these lame missions, old man!" Naruto continues to complain.

"How dare you?!" Iruka slams his hands against the table. "You're just a rookie Genin! You have to start with simple missions to develop you skills and prove yourself!"
