Okay, so I'm gonna combine this request with my promise to make a Landon story! Enjoy!

Divinus Magia was in the middle of a meeting...everyone except for Brandon. At first Ritchie didn't worry all that much, considering his brother kind of did his own thing.

"Hey, uh, Ritchie? I believe we're missing someone, a certain brother of yours." David said while clearing his throat.

"He's probably just finishing up paperwork or something to thay effect, just- Could you not cut me off for once?"

The guild meeting ended up finishing without Brandon showing up. "Where is he.." Ritchie mumbled, now slightly worried. "Lucas! Before you go, go find my brother please? And let him know we had the meeting, and that I need to go see Michael."

"Wha- why me?"

"Just go, please."

Lucas sighed. "Alright then." He went to the twins' office.

Meanwhile,with Brandon...

Brandon kept drifting in and out of consciousness. He had managed to fly himself to a beach on the Divinus Magia island before collapsing and not being able to get back up. He had been on a mission, although he later learned that what was on the paper was nowhere close to what he was dealing with. A set-up. Not that it mattered now, it was dealt with- Not without a cost however, Brandon wasn't ashamed to say he got his ass kicked. In the end he pulled through, but boy did it hurt. As a matter of fact his whole body ached, although in particular his arm, chest, and head hurt. Soon enough he went out of consciousness again, and everything went dark.

Lucas knocked on the wall going into the twins' office. "Hello? Brandon??" Upon seeing nobody, he was a bit confused. Ritchie had said he was in here last he saw him...maybe the quest board?

He checked the quest board and low and behold, a quest was missing. 'Okay, so he's on a quest.' After a bit more thought, he realized that if Brandon took a quest without warning then he should probably be back by now. "Okay, I guess I'm just wandering until I maybe run into him.." Lucas said to himself, walking out the room and walking around the island.

Eventually, he got to the beach and saw...well, something on the beach. Lucas squinted, and jogged to get closer to it when he realized it was a person. Upon further inspection/getting closer, he realized it was Brandon. "Oh gods- Brandon?!" He ran up to him and tapped him a little. "Brandon?? Brandon can you hear me?" He got a groan in response. Lucas sighed, "Okay, he's alive.."

"Yes, I'm alive..." Brandon said with a slight cough.

"Do you think you could stand..?"

"I can- I can try." Brandon croaked out, giving Lucas the arm that wasn't hurt. Lucas hesitantly grabbed it before starting to count.

"Okay, on 3. 1..2...3!" Brandon sat up, then on another count he stood up all the way, leaning on Lucas a bit. "Alright, c'mon, to the infirmary, and quick."

"Okay, uhm. I have a little bit of healing magic, in the meantime-"

"Lucas, I'm fine, I can wrap myself up-"

"No, no, that'll make it worse."

"Lucas-"

"Just let me help, please." Lucas asked, pleading a little. Brandon sighed. "Alright, fine.."

"Thank you. Now what all is hurt??" As Lucas was patching him up, it kept becoming increasingly awkward...neither knew exactly what to say, especially Brandon, other than a couple 'thank you's here and there. "Okay, done."

"Right, uhm..thanks."

"..no problem. Can I ask you something though?" Brandon was quiet for a moment. "...sure."

"What..exactly happened?"

"Oh. Uh.." Brandon hesitated. "One of the missions on the quest board was a set-up, and it went...left."

"Set-up?"

"Yeah, the actual mission was completely different from what was on paper," Lucas nodded. "Right.." After a moment of just staring at each other Lucas looked away and stood. "Well! Uhm- I'm gonna go get Ritchie..originally he told me to come find you, that's the only reason I did."

"Ah. That makes sense. I'll come too-" Lucas cut him off. "No, you stay."

"Why??"

"I suspect you have a couple ribs that are either bruised or completely broken." Brandon slowly sat back down. "Right.."

"I'll, uh..be back!" Lucas walked out as Brandon sighed, coughed, then laid down.

'Why am I so awkward.' Lucas thought, a little fed up with himself. He wasn't this awkward with everybody else, unless it was David and he just made it awkward. But Brandon wasn't David, polar opposite actually. Eventually Lucas just said whatever, and lucky for him, where he had ended up walking was where Ritchie was- The training area nearby the infirmary. "Ritchie!" He called out.

"Ah!" Ritchie said in response, pausing his training. "Lucas, did you find Brandon?"

"Yeah, yeah, I did, but I found him all beat up on the beach, c'mon!" The panic hadn't really set in until that moment when he said it out loud.

"Excuse me?"

"He can explain when we get there, just come!"

When they did get there, Brandon appeared to be asleep as Lucas sat down in a chair next to him and Ritchie sat on the bed. "...hello brother," Brandon greeted, deciding to open his eyes.

"Oh! Brandon, hey! What the hell happened?!" Brandon sighed. "One of the quests on the quest board was a set up, and I came prepared for a quest that didn't exist."

"Alright, did you handle it, or does somebody need to hear from me?-"

"I handled it, brother, relax." Ritchie sighed. "Good! Good..did you patch yourself up or did Lucas here help?" Brandon and Lucas glanced at each other. "Well, he didn't exactly let me do it myself, so-" Lucas went a little pink as Ritchie smirked. "I see...well, now that I can see your alright, I'll leave you to rest. C'mon Lucas," Ritchie got up and walked out, and Lucas initially was going to follow, but Brandon stopped him.

"Lucas wait."

"Hmm?" Lucas stopped walking and turned around.

"Sit with me, will you? Considering you aren't going to let me get up and do things I at least want some company-"

"What about Ritchie?" Brandon sighed. "Unfortunately Ritchie's gonna have to do a little overtime to make up my paperwork. And besides," Brandon reached and grabbed Lucas' hand. "I want your company." There was a beat of silence, Lucas going pink again, before he just sat on the bed and sighed himself.

"Okay, fine."

"Thank you." They gazed at each other for a couple seconds, both debating whether to move forward- Literally, as Lucas decided to be a bit bold and lean in. Out of surprise Brandon moved backwards, prompting Lucas to panic a little.

"I'm sorry, was that an overstep?"

"Oh- Uh, no, no, your fine." Brandon decided to reciprocate and just go for it...

...although, for the time being, a kiss on the cheeck will just have to do.
