Day of the Dead

It was October 31st.Naturally Divinus Magia was decorating for Halloween...well,except for Lucas anyway.He was at home,getting ready for...Day of the Dead! Although he hated putting on the make up,knowing that David would make fun of him,it's just what his blood family did,he remembered that much.He never really told Divinus Magia about this,he never had a reason to...at least until now.He also had Plant with him,who was in her own little costume.David being the person he was,she was matching with him,they were both vampires."You think I look okay Plant?"

"Plant!" Plant said cheerfully while nodding.Lucas saw this in the mirror."If you think so...in a way I'm kinda nervous.I don't really know why...it's probably just me,right Plant?" Plant nodded."Plant." Lucas smiled and picked her up."Let's go then,shall we?"

"Plant!!" Lucas smiled and walked out.

When he got to the guildhall he almost chickened out.He was nervous for no real reason.He put Plant down,who ran off towards the group sitting at the table...

"There you are Plant! Look at you,my mini vampire!" David said,picking Plant up and sitting them next to him."Aww,Plant you look adorable!"

"Hey! They're supposed to be scary!" Ritchie chuckled a little."Nah,she looks cute to me.What's even cuter is that you 2 are matching."

"It's supposed to be scary,not cute!" They continued to talk.Everyone else's costumes where just as great.Inmo and Kit were cats,Blake was a witch,Mario was supposed to be Frankenstein,and Devin only put some wolf ears and considered it a costume.Ritchie and Brandon? They didn't really wanna go all out with the costumes either,but they did a little bit more than what Devin did,Brandon had a little bit of make up on as he was dressed as a zombie,and Ritchie had a hoodie on with some blood painted on his face while holding a chainsaw prop.Lucas peaked out from behind the pillar and took a deep breath before coming out."Uh..hey guys!" This put the attention on him."Hey Lucas! Wow,you went all out,didn't you?" Ritchie said.Lucas nervously chuckled."Ah,no..I don't really celebrate Halloween,my family did Day of the Dead.But that's literally all I remember from my childhood." David stood up."What?! You don't celebrate Halloween?! Who doesn't celebrate Halloween?!"

"A lot of people actually-" A couple people said in sync."Yeah yeah,true,but still!" Lucas used the flowers he was holding to hit David."Excuse you,but that's quite offensive!"

"Ow!- What do you mean?!"

"Well for one- Oh nevermind...don't we have some party to get to with the other guilds and La Carnival?"

"They were invited?" Ritchie asked."I mean that's what I was told,so I assume so."

"Huh..okay then.Anyway,Divinus Magia,before we go,I have one rule that sums up the list I had...behave yourselves. Understand?" Divinus Magia briefly agreed."Alright then! Let's go to this party!"
