Her volunteer music lesson would calm things down and the walk there would too, but Brad had made things ten times worse, she deems, this is not worth the fight now, he blew it in her eyes. As she gets there, everyone was gathered in a group outside, like something has happened.

'Hey what's going on?' Ester asks the club member Dan, with his 90's bomber jacket and his black cap sitting backwards.

'Do you know about this? Is it you?' he asks her.

'I don't what you are talking about?'

'Someone anonymous has donated 5,000 dollars to the club and has brought new instruments.' Ester jaw dropped, this was her idea and wanted to do this as a surprise to the club when she made enough money from the tour, and someone has stolen her thunder. Instead of being happy, she felt pissed that her time to shine has gone. 'The local press is going to turn up soon. You sure you had nothing to do with this?' he asks again.

'Yeah I'm sure, I have no idea who it is.' she thought for a while and wondered who it could be, the only person she told was Eric and Katie, but they never held lots of cash like that around, the next person she thought of was Ryleigh. Yes, she did tell her, but she never thought it is Ryleighs' style to take that away from her, just to be sure she gave her a call.

'Hey, Ester what's up?'

'Umm, there is something I need to ask you.' she pauses, 'Someone anonymous has given to the club that I volunteer money and instruments. Do you happen to know about this or even did it yourself?' Ester treaded her words carefully, as she does not want to hurt her feelings.

'Nope, but whoever it was, credit to them that's a really sweet thing to do.'

'Do you know who it is?'

'Not a scooby.'

'Ok, thanks speak later.' Ester ended the call, she believed her, and there was no chance of Rory doing it either.

The club decided to try out the instruments and Ester had a keyboard to herself, all the kids she was teaching could all learn at once. The atmosphere in the room was buzzing, but Ester did not feel it because it was not her who did it.

After finishing her session, next stop is band practice, and it was still running through her head on who it could be. Fighting with Brad and a charity donation all in one day is just too much for her to handle at least here, no one knows as she has no reason to tell them. Drew was chirpy when Ester arrived, he started to miss her, it got to a point now where he wished he had her to himself. He decided to try again and see if she was available for Saturday.

'So, do you want to come by again and help?' Drew asks after band practise finishes.

'Yeah sure, wouldn't miss it.' she thought it was a nice gesture as maybe being with him made her feel better, and then suddenly remembered her schedule. 'Oh, I can't be there all day, as I have a gig in the evening.' his smile suddenly drops as he was thinking in her head to take her to dinner.

'Where to?'

'Kelly-Cross Key bar' she says, Drew insists of taking her home and dropping her to the gig that evening, and she accepts it.

In her room, she changed her outfit about 3 or 4 times, and this is something she never does, it has always been "whatever has been first in the pile to pick". Today she wanted to make an impression on Drew, there is something about him that she likes but is still not admitting to herself it could be something more. She is just a fan of his work and is still star-struck, although Ester has become more comfortable around him.
