Ester goes back to Drew and tells him to follow her out. They walk side by side quietly, taking in the polluted air, they both run in their head on what they are going to say to each other. She takes him to the quiet café where she and Brad had a chat, being quite dead in there and is unlikely to be seen. She orders a dollar coffee and puts the plastic cup on the table where he was sitting waiting for her.

'You don't have to drink it, it's only a dollar.' Ester breaks the ice, and he raises an eyebrow at her thinking, he is too upper-class to be drinking crap like this. To show he is not one to care, he takes a sip, but he did hate it and sucked his teeth.

'Thanks.' he responded, she looked everywhere apart from him.

'I have to apologise...'

'No it's me who should-.'

'No, let me.' Ester raised her hand in protest to speak. 'I overreacted, and it was a wonderful gesture that you did, I should of seen it like that. But I felt jealous and I shouldn't of, it was very childish of me.' he admired her more for owning up to her mistakes and felt like she meant it, the long silence made her aware of her actions, 'I understand if you don't want me in the band anymore...'

'No.' he cuts in, 'I still want you there.' it plastered the smile on her face, 'I only did the donation because of how much you loved it and teaching the kids. I thought by doing that I was helping you, I'm sorry I made feel the way that you did. I was never trying to hurt you.'

All-day, he thought about her and what he could say, not being able to reach her played on his mind a lot on what she could be doing and whether she was mad too.

'It's ok, thanks for telling me.' he smiles back at her, she places her hands on her coffee cup for warmth. Talking it out made her feel better, the horoscope was only a coincidence she tells herself.

'I really enjoyed your performance by the way. Your new track is good too.'

Ester goes all red, 'Thanks. It needs some tweaks, but it's getting there.'

'Let me record and produce it with you.' he blurted out, and she was taken back by his offer. 'I want to return the favour for what you've done with me.'

With that, he grabbed her right hand and held it tight, and she felt his warmth and softness that sent a chill down her spine. 'If I do this with you, I promise it'll be a good outcome from it.' she looks at their hands touching monitoring this moment and what it could mean, he smiles at her, and she does too, starting at each other quietly.

'So, I was right then, and the lies continue.' A male voice pops up from behind her, making her jump and Ester retracts her hands from him.

'Brad?'

His casual tight jeans and hoodie fitted him comfortably and carrying his skateboard in his hand. He went to the skatepark where he took Ester and went there to socialise with friends and came by to grab a coffee and snack. He recognised her from a mile off.

'You told me you weren't seeing anybody.' he says angry.

'I'm not, I'm just hanging out with a......' she wanted to say friend, but it never seemed right to call him that, what were they exactly?

'Oh, yeah? Well, it seems more than that.'

Ester get's up, 'Come on, don't be like that.' he takes in her outfit and sees she is showing off too much skin.

'Like what? I'm not the one sneaking around and making up stories.' Brad turns to Drew, 'Are you paying to sleep with her?'

'What?' he said back shocked with the Brads' outburst, he did not like his attitude, and by now he would have punched him.

'No, this my bandmate, his name is....' she didn't want to say his real name just in case he figured it out.

'Peter.' Drew says, 'I'm the drummer with the band she's practising with.' Even he did not want his identity to be known, as she looks back at him knowing he is angry too.

'Oh, this is like a roleplay game going on huh?' Brad mocks them.

'Stop. You're being childish about it. It's nothing like that.'

'Come on, I'm taking you back to mine.' Brad grabs her hand, and she snatches it off. Drew wondering if he will have to save her again from this weird person.

'No.' she says, and he looks at her mad, 'We'll talk, but not right now until you calmed down. You need to leave.'

'No, I'm not having it, come on.' Brad tries again, and this time Drew got up from his seat.

'She said leave.' he stood a bit taller than him and squared him off threatened with his words.

'And what if I don't?' he says back showing now fear, Ester pushes her way in between, and looks a Brad first.

'I need you to go now.' her firm words hurt him, and he decides to give up and leave. She hated to see him like that, but she wished he would trust her more. Drew lets out a small laugh of a joke he thought to himself, Ester heard it, and she is not impressed with him. The smiles instantly falls from his face. She felt grateful for what he did earlier but to do it with someone she knew made her mad and to only just forgive him as well. Without saying a word, Ester picks up her coat and starts to escape from the café. Drew chases her and grabs her by the waist and spins her around before she leaves.

'Ester, let me take you home.' she decides not to fight him like she did with Brad and not one to complain where he placed his hands on her. 'Please?' she stares at him, wondering,

'Fine.'

She sits on the passenger side staying quiet,

'Are you coming tomorrow?' he treads carefully. Drew can not understand what he did wrong to upset her, the guy identified as "Brad" became an annoyance to him, and he had to know if he's her boyfriend or not.

'Yes.' Ester said quietly.

'I'm sorry for whatever I have done.'

'You've done nothing wrong. I'm just pissed at him.' Drew felt better and thought it might be best to vent it out.

'Is he your boyfriend?'

'He's not my boyfriend, we went on a date, and we work together in the music store.' he's glad of the answer smiling on the inside.

'That's it?' she nods, 'Do you want to talk about it?'

'No, I'll deal with it.' she responds, and he didn't want to push her anymore. Ester thinks whether to end it with Brad altogether, as he is becoming more trouble as it is. Something is telling her to keep trying with him.

He parks the car by the curb, turns the engine off, and turns to face her.

'Thank you for driving me and saving me earlier. I'll see you tomorrow.' Ester reaches to the back of the car to grab her coat and her face is closer to Drew.

'Ester....' he says quietly, she looks at him and can smell the coffee on his breath, her heart pumped fast. She didn't move, and he didn't either. The connection they felt is like no other, and they didn't want it to stop. Drew didn't think and kissed her softly on the lips, by doing so made her shiver as it felt wonderful. He craved to do it feeling scared it might not felt anything, but he's wrong, it was better than he imagined. He pulled back, and she gently opened her eyes not wanting it to stop, it's like she's been asleep and she finally woken up to something amazing. Then, reality hits. They're co-workers she's a fan of him, and of course she would dream of kissing her favourite celebrity right?

'Good night.' he says, and she leaves the car. Confused as she walks up to her room, her heart was about to burst on what just happened. Drew kissed her and she's not sure on what to do next or even say anything like it never happened.
