The next few days, she should have been excited about the tour, but really wants to quit, and her friends are encouraging her to enjoy it a least. The last two days were long days of rehearsals, the rest of the crew got excited, which started to rub on Ester. Drew made it looked like that nothing happened between them at all, but he never got angry at her for missing a few keys and her vocals becoming sloppy as he knew what she was going through.

The last day before the tour, they all would meet one more time to confirm all the arrangements for the next ten months. Ester turned up early and wore a comfy hoodie, hair in a ponytail and tight black skinny jeans. The studio was empty, she plonked her self on the sofa and played on her phone. She traces through the pictures they took together, and there was a point she was going to delete them all.

'At least you've got good timing skills.' Naomi walks in with her iced coffee in her hand, sipping on the last bit available. She watches Ester peeling herself from her phone, and catches an image she is looking at of them together. Naomi has seen the sadness portray on her face, and thought it was time for some comfort. She sits next to her,

'You ok?'

Ester adjusts to sit comfortably, 'I know I should be excited for the tour and my solo work, but I'm finding it hard to deal with and how he's taking it.'

Naomi sighs and puts her cup on the table, 'I was hoping you being here would make him get out a bit more and enjoy his life again, but I didn't expect this to happen.' she pauses, 'I never seen him this happy for a long time, you've done something to him.' Ester gives a small corner smile agreeing with her, as he has done something to her too. 'That's why I wanted you to come along. I ideally wanted you in Las Vegas, but your brother said it would be impossible to get you there, so we came here instead.'

'Why me?'

'Because, he didn't listen to music unless he was working, but he would listen to yours and only yours. Drew would watch you on the Tv show every time, your music videos, anything that was related to you. So it got me wondering, with your positive attitude it might make him realise that not everyone is bad out there. I didn't realise until now, the way he looked at you at the music awards. I thought he was going through a phase of his therapy from socialising again, as he acted really weird. At the time, he must have found it strange. I also believe that your music gave him a reason to heal too... I guess.... he's not just a fan.'

She would like to believe Naomi on everything she said, as it would be nice to think that Drew was falling for her before he even realised. 'I know he's not showing it, but he wants you.' she continues, 'Don't give up on him yet.'

'How can I, when he's already made his mind up.'

She shakes her head, 'He hasn't. He just wants you to believe that. Whatever you did before, it obviously worked.' Naomi gets up and throws her cup in the bin, 'Also your brother is quite the gentleman, I can't wait to spend on tour with him.'

'Wait...' she turns around to face her, '...he's coming on tour too?' Naomi nods, 'And you and my bro..?' she nods again.

'Like I said, he's a great guy.'

'How long has it been going on for?'

'A couple of weeks in when you started here.' Ester raises her eyebrows, considering Naomi gave him a chance and he got a women like her to fall for Eric. She was going to ask, but Ester thought about that with Drew too, how did he fall for her?

Drew was the next person in and they looked at him, his eyes drawn more to Ester.

'Oh, that's nice of you to bring coffee.' Naomi says breaking their eye contact.

'I got this for you.' Drew says,

'No thanks, I had an iced coffee. I'm sure Ester would take it though.'

It surprised him when she was here and the corner smile she presents revelling a small dimple he can see, almost caught him off guard. Coming back to reality, he places the coffee cup down, as she thanked him.

'I'll be back in a sec, goes straight to my bladder.' Naomi walks out with almost crossing her legs together. Ester grabs the cup taking a sip realising it was going to sting her tongue slightly.

'Just wait a little longer, it'll cool down eventually.' Drew breaks the silence,

'You tell me that after I've done it.' she jokes, and he laughs a little bit, but when he looked at her again, his smile dropped. 'When do you think you'll hear from the label?' She asks,

'In a couple of days.' He answers, and it went quiet again.

'You were right...that I should embrace the song as I wrote it.'

'Well, I think it's a good track. Let's hope the label does too.' Ester cheeks went a little red, the compliments always gets to her and wishes he would stop doing that. The thought of him doing it after everything made her wonder.

Drew gets up and walks to the recording booth door, before he opens it he looks over his shoulder.

'You coming?' She looks at him, confused and gets up to follow him.

'I thought we weren't practising?' Drew holds the door for her and she walks past him,

'We're not....' He closes the door, she turns to look at him and nudges his head for her to sit down on the chair next to the piano. '...I need your help with something.' Drew goes over and sits by the piano,

'Oh.' She says surprised, he plays softly on the keys and she listens, even watching him started to give her goosebumps and makes her heartache too. Drew then suddenly stops, slapping his hands on his legs.

'I don't know what I need here, I'm missing something.' Ester thinks and gets up from her chair, circling behind him.

'Play it again...' She says, and he starts, as she thinks making her way on one side of the piano pressing some keys down blending in what he is doing. Drew watches her as she concentrates on getting it right and he stops while she continues. She sits on the seat next to him, and both of her hands are on the instrument engaging into the symphony, as he watches her it reminds him how much he missed her eyes, smile, and lips. Ester finishes her part and feels the side of their bodies touching, and her heart is beating fast. Being close to Drew again like this pulls her into the smell of his cologne. She can hear his heart beating fast too.

'What do you....think?' Ester asks quietly,

'Amazing.' he whispers back, eager to get an inch closer to her face. She moves almost close to his lips, but then the door slams open in the studio with a loud lad laugh. Drew pulls back quickly and gets off from the seat. Ester sighs, wondering if he would of done it and wonders if it will change his mind about her once and for all. She believed then Naomi was right, he still wanted her, and she was going to find a way of getting him back.

The rest of the band sits down on the sofa, and Ester perches herself next to Myles and can see Drew in the corner of her eye and not once he looks at her. Naomi stands tall with Eric beside her and takes the lead,

'Right, so this is what's going to happen....'
