Chapter 25. Meet My Family

Chapter 25.

"Mew! Wake up! How dare you sleep on me! Get out of my car!"

Gulf shouted while shaking Mew hard, enough to move even the whole car.

Mew who got disturbed from sleeping, grabbed Gulf's hand and pulled him to a tight hug.

Gulf stiffened while Mew is tightening the hug more, it's as if Mew is about to be left by Gulf when the fact is he is just being scolded.

"Bii..."

Gulf softened after he heard Mew's weak voice, he can feel that something's wrong.

"H-hey.. What's wrong?"

Gulf asked, he doesn't know why his heart suddenly thumped faster than usual.

"Nothing... Just let me hug you.."

Mew said and buried his face on Gulf's shoulder. His heavy breaths doesn't scape from Gulf's speculation that something's bothering him.

"Boo.. Tell me what's wrong."

Gulf said while rubbing Mew's back, he can feel that this has something to do with meeting his family. He himself is so nervous even the whole day yesterday. He is just trying hard not to get obvious so his boyfriend will have enough confidence. He knows that his family, especially his uncles are not so kind when it comes to partners of the teens in thier family.

"I just got a dream, your family will not accept me and they will take you away from me."

Mew said. The sadness can clearly feel just by hearing his voice. He sighed deeply again and tightened his hold to Gulf. He knows that they are on the garage of Gulf's house and in just a couple of minutes they are going to face Gulf's parents already.

"No.. Don't think too much. It's just a dream. And I won't let that happen.."

Gulf said, trying to assure his boyfriend even when he himself is more nervous than Mew.

Gulf kissed Mew's head before parting and made a joke, trying to lift up the mood.

"Let's go. Don't worry, no one in my family bites."

Gulf said and tried to smile to erase the gloomy vibe. Mew smiled too and hold firmly to Gulf's hand.

"They chop."

Mew hitched his breath and unconsciously gripped harder on Gulf's hand. His face looks like blood run out of it and his heart thumped hard.

"S-s-seriously?"

Mew stuttered, he knows that the statement is unbelievable but he can't help to be nervous because it is still possible.

Gulf laughed softly while looking at Mew with so much adore.

"I'm just kidding. Don't be so nervous, you know I'm leaning on you."

Gulf smiled but his face looks more nervous than Mew.

"If only you know how much I want to go back to the city. But we can't cancel this. My mom is already walking towards us."

Gulf squeezed Mew's hand, indicating that they should ready their selves and get out of the car to greet Gulf's Mom.

Mew sighed and gave his best smile. No matter what happen, he will do anything he can do for the both of them.

"Son.. What's taking you so long here?"

Gulf's Mother asked right after Gulf went out of the car.

"Hi Ma.."

Gulf hugged his Mother for a moment, he misses his Mother so much.
