Chapter 20. I Am Also Missing You

Chapter 20.

Gulf became so busy handling the resort that he left on his friend's parents. There are a lot of buildings and cottages to renovate and some of the boats are getting old and needed to be replaced already. He is planning to change the lighting and the playground too, the hotels and restaurants are getting old and he wanted to tighten the resort's cleanliness and safety.

He is managing the resort in just two years and it is originally old since he bought it. Now he wanted to renovate everything as it will be a long time before summer comes again. The money he gained will be enough to replace everything.

He tried to plan everything fast as he is already missing Mew, he can't call him because there is no signal in the place. Having no signal in the resort is not good for some of the tourists but some liked it as it became their scape from the toxic world and just enjoy their day without any disturb from calls and social media.

In the mean time, Gulf is rushing the plans about everything so he can see Mew again. He decided to not visit his family yet and go back right after everything is planned, he will leave the rest to his friend's parents so he can go back fast and see Mew.

"Come on Gulf, let's take a photo." Sky called for Gulf who is still talking to the workers of the resort and asking for their opinion about the renovation.

Sky is his childhood friend who had an intimate feelings for him, he is the reason why Gulf studied in the City during his 10th grade. After Gulf knew Sky's feelings for him, he tried to talk to Sky and explain that he don't like him. But Sky still tried to court him so he decided to study in a different school just to scape from him.

But when they became senior high, Sky decided to talk to Gulf and say that he will not push his feelings and stop it for the happiness of the both of them. Gulf trusted Sky and the man never broke his words. They are still good friends now.

Sky's parents are not that rich, they just have an average life so he decided to leave the resort to them. He have trust in the family since they are their good friends eversince so he didn't hesitate to help them. One half of the annual earnings of the resort are automatically given to them, Gulf didn't care about money as long as he can help.

"Hey, don't stress yourself. You know you can leave the rest to me." Sky said once Gulf walked closer to him.

"I don't want to burden you too much. I want this to be finalized today so I can leave tomorrow already." Gulf said and tiredly rubbed his nape. The sweats are being prominent on his gray shirt as the weather is very hot even though it is not summer.

"Don't worry too much, we can handle that." Sky wrapped his hand on Gulf' shoulder and slightly shake him to give incouragement.

Gulf smiled at Sky and heard a shutter snapped from Sky's cellphone. He just shook his head from Sky's craziness, his friend really loves taking pictures everytime they see each other.

"Mother said the lunch is ready, you should eat first." Sky said while they are walking through the cottages near the sea.

"You go first, I'll just visit the showers." Gulf said trying to hide the tiredness of his body. Sky sighed and didn't try to retort because he knows that he can't change Gulf's mind.

"Okay. I will buy something in the city later, do you want to come?" Sky asked trying to give Gulf a break, he can clearly see that Gulf is already tired. Gulf just shook his head and didn't say anything.

Sky walked away and Gulf sighed deeply. He looked to the sea and started wandering what Mew is doing at the moment. He will lie if he tell that Mew didn't enter his mind for the past two days, the reason why he is rushing everything is because Mew's face is always flashing in his mind that made him miss his boyfriend so much. He know that Mew is missing him already too, he can't wait to finalize everything and feel Mew's warmth while he is resting.
