Chapter 5. Move up

Chapter 5.

It was their moving up day. The ceremony would start a few minutes later and the two boys couldn't have a relax moment because of the speech they had to deliver later on.

The both of them didn't let other to lose the 'Top' title so they became a tie. They just laughed and smirked at each other when the result came out.

Now they are both going to deliver a speech and practicing together. Both can't focus as they are distracted by each other's presence.

But deep inside, they are getting nervous as they don't know if they're still gonna see each other again after this.

A few hours later, the ceremony had come to its end. People are busy from congratulating the completers and taking pictures.

But Mew can't stop looking for Gulf who disappeared immediately from the venue.

From the whole days that was remaining since their final exam, he thought thoroughly about confessing to Gulf about how he feel.

And this is the day he decided to tell him everything. He's still hesitating but he wants to try and deal with the possible things that might happen later.

He went out of the venue and looked for Gulf but he saw nothing. Maybe he went home already with his parents.

Mew went back to his parents and ask them to go home as he is not happy anymore.

He went home feeling down. He grabbed his laptop and surf in the internet looking for Gulf's any internet account.

He saw Gulf's Facebook and IG account but both are seems to not updated for months. Gulf seems to not so fond of social media.

That made Mew's hope lessen. Why didn't he asked for his cellphone number when he had time by the way?

Because of disappointment he feels, Mew grabbed his pillow and buried his face and screamed on it hard till the veins in his head thumped slightly.

Gulf wanted to stay a little longer but he has to go with his parents, he is telling himself that it is for the better because he will not see Mew's face and will definitely forget about how he feel about Mew.

For the whole school year, he fought that feeling and this break might help him to completely forget about it.

That's how Gulf thought, but the reality is striking him hard. He misses Mew so bad, he wants to see Mew, he wants to talk to him, hear his voice and watch him moving again.

For his whole studying in senior high, that's all he felt, he thought he'd forget about Mew but he's wrong. He is always stalking Mew's social media accounts, smiling in Mew's achievements and always fighting the urge to message him and tell him he misses him.

Now both of them are in second year college, Mew is living in his own condo that his father bought for him.

Gulf packed his things and drove immediately to his condo unit not too far from the university he got transferred.

He purposely picked the university where Mew is studying. He chose the university because of the good quality of education that the school can provide.

That's his reason for himself, not admitting that there is someone who's the real reason behind such decision, not wanting to step on his ego.

Unpacking his things, his stomach growled screaming for some food. Gulf then realized that he didn't eat since breakfast and it's already two in the afternoon.

He changed his clothes and grabbed his car key and his bag pack to go to the university and sort things to get everything ready before his class starts on Monday.

After sorting things out, he decided to visit his faculty building and have a tour by himself. The building of Law is big enough to hold hundreds of students. It has a clean facility and some students are sitting on the floor while reading their notes.

Once he got contented, he decided to go back to his condo unit but he went to the mall first to buy new personal things and other important things to use in everyday living.

Monday came and Gulf safely arrived at the university, he quickly looked for a parking spot near at his building and immediately parked his car and strode to his first class.

Mew hurriedly arrived at the university and immediately went to the parking lot, expecting to just swiftly park his car to his usual spot. But someone parked on it already.

He sighed deeply and frowned his brows in annoyance. He quickly looked for another spot and hurriedly walked to his building. He needs to handle some lessons and projects that he missed from his last week's not attending to his class.

That parking spot stealer got him slightly pissed this morning. His temper is low at the moment because of he had a sleeplessness night because of someone named.. Who is that again?

Gulf half walked and half ran went back to his car as he forgot his books. But he suddenly stopped moving because of a man he is missing for years that is walking with an annoyed face.

He collected his senses back and immediately hide to a corner in front of the Engineering building. Heart thumping hard and fast with a sweaty hands and forehead.

Gulf tried to calm himself but his attempt of calming his organs failed. Instead, his unusual feeling increased as Mew walked in front of him entering the building.

He gasped but quickly moved his body away pretending that everything is okay.

He almost tripped while walking with a wobble legs and decided to calm himself inside his car.

That unexpected seeing of Mew really got him shocked, the strong feeling is still there, the feeling of being with Mew got him and he misses the man more just because of a few glance he got a while ago.

He thanked his senses for cooperating with him and tried his best to have his usual look. After calming down, he quickly went back to his building that is one building away from the building of engineering.
