Chapter 28. The Life After 10 Years

Chapter 28.

Ten Years Later.

"Mew! Have you seen my car keys?!"

Gulf shouted from the living room of their house that they both worked hard for.

The morning looks so busy for the both of them as they both have their own career and both pursuing for a higher position and aiming their dream success.

"It's in your pocket baby! You forgot about it again!"

Mew shouted back from their bedroom while fixing his clothes, he is about to visit a site that is planned to use in building a water system.

Mew is now a licensed civil engineer and pursuing a Doctoral Degree for him to be able to teach that he also wanted to do ever since. It's his first year of studying the degree and he enjoys it very much.

"Oh, yes. It's here."

Gulf said to himself after he felt his keys in the pocket of his formal coat. Mew went out of their bedroom and he saw Gulf  looking not in focus while checking the files in the suitcase. Mew sighed and slowly hugged Gulf from behind.

"Baby.. Relax okay?.."

Mew softly said and gently kissed Gulf's neck. Gulf sighed heavily, letting out his frustrations for the day and held on Mew's hands that are wrapped around his waist.

"I'm sorry.. I can't help it.. You know I want to celebrate our anniversary with you today but this is also the final hearing of my clients' case. I'm getting nervous Mew.. This is the biggest case that I held.."

Mew turned Gulf around and tightened his hold on Gulf's waist while looking deeply at Gulf's eyes.

"I'm sorry I can't be with you today.. "

Gulf said, the sadness can clearly hear on his voice.

"Shhh.. It's okay.. We're both busy and we can still celebrate later at night. And I know you can win the case. You're my best Attorney, remember?"

Mew said with a smile, trying to lift Gulf's mood up. Gulf sighed again and hugged Mew tight.

"Please don't think too much.."

Mew softly said, soothing Gulf and made him relaxed in Mew's warm embrace. He felt amazing because even though a decade passed, the feeling when he is in Mew's arms never changed.  Gulf smiled and nodded. He slowly parted and uttered a silent thanks to Mew.

They both became silent and just starred at each other. Gulf slowly leaned forward and gently kissed Mew. The kiss is so passionate and full of love, enough for the both of them to have a lot of strength to survive their busy day.

"Happy 10th anniversary baby.."

Mew sweetly said and smiled genuinely.

"Happy 10th anniversary.."

Gulf replied with full of heart, the uneasiness faded and it replaced by comfort, happiness and many other overwhelming feelings that only Mew can make him feel.

They once again shared a very passionate kiss and Gulf left the house with light heart.

Gulf is now an Attorney for two years and pursued a Master of Law, specialized in Human Rights that he is really concerned in. He is highly concerned in every rights of a human because it is very worthy for him.

Now he also wants to teach so he decided to pursue another degree which is Doctor of Juridical Science. This is the highest degree in Law and he is already in his 3rd month.
